l am in class 10 so how should I start my preparation to give IIMC exam
Dear,
Start by knowing the right syllabus. To draw a clear cut preparation plan for the entrance exam, it is important to have knowledge of the IIMC syllabus. The right books and study material are good assets to help crack the IIMC entrance exam. While the newspapers are good sources for current affairs and events. Some books you can refer are:
1.Popular Master Guide for Journalism & Mass Communication Entrance Examination by R Gupta
2. Handbook of Mass Communication (Theory and Practice)-V K Joshi
3.Mass Communication Journalism Entrance Examination of All Indian Universities-Arihant
A significant aspect of preparation for IIMC entrance exam is to learn from the mistakes made during the course of preparation.and while solving papers. The trick is to understand where it went wrong and how to rectify it.
You can refer the entire syllabus and past papers on the following site: https://media.careers360.com/articles/iimc-entrance-exam

im getting 51.10 score for entry into the 2 nd round through CAT for IIM CALCUTTA here by putting my academics, gender & catagory, hence, upto which extent is this correct ? because it is too less ? and if I convert it into the percentile then what it shows?
Hey there
51.10 score in CAT is very less score and you will not get any of the top MBA colleges which accepts cat as per the previous year analysis. You can prepare for other entrance exams like MAT, SNAP, CMAT, XAT etc. because not only CAT score is there for every good management college you can go for other exams too.
Good luck
How is MAKAUT haringhata compare to vidyasagar, kalyani and calcutta university for IT, AI and MBA?
See brother you can simply check the closing ranks of each institute as you will know which one is more prefered.. CU is considered the best option after JU.. The placement figure improved a lot becoz a TPO got hired last year... The median CTC is above 6 lacs which is higher than any MAKAUT colleges.. Also the research exposure of CU is comparable and even surpasses JU for few dept... So as far as academics goes JU, CU, IIEST & IIT all are very simillar...
Though the cutoff for iim-c is below 90 percentile, what is the actually required percentile to achieve iim-c if one is from ews category.
Hello !
