So with my this academic record from whIch IIM i can expect call? please suggest me
What is your academic record. You haven't mentioned it.
For securing a call from BLACKI u need to score high in the range mostly above 99 percentile
For new iim u would be getting calls mostly above 97
While newest would give even at a bit less than that
So decide and work hard to score the best
Thanks
Sir i got only 59% in 12 class and other marks are good 10, grjuation and cat are good marks but only 12 marks 59% so i m eligible
You are definitely eligible as 50% is the eligibility criteria. However getting into the IIMs with this academic record is going to be extremely tough. However there are several other good colleges you can get.
All the best!

I have 10 cgpa in Xth & 94% in 12th ... What percentile in CAT should I get for IIM Indore ?
Harshit you have an amazing academic record in 10th and 12th. Assuming that your graduation percentage must also be high like your school academic records it will be easier for you to get a call from IIM Indore.
IIM Indore is one of the only IIM which gives more weightage to 10th, 12th percentage; even more than CAT marks to form an initial merit list which is used to call students for the second round of WAT and interview.
With an aggregate score of 100 below, I have mentioned the weightage for the initial merit list:
- Class X: 36%
- Class XII: 40%
- Cat 2017 ( overall) score: 20%
- Gender Diversity Factor: 4% (for female applicants)
After the second round of WAT and interview below I have mentioned the weight given in the final merit list which is used to give final admission to students:
- Class 10: 10%
- Class 12: 10%
- CAT 2017 (overall) score: 20%
- WAT score: 20%
- PI score: 40%
So in short by scoring 97+ percentile in CAT exam your call for the second round is assured and with a decent performance in the second round of WAT and interview you can fix your seat in IIM Indore.
6 months are more than enough to prepare for CAT exam for any candidate to score above 99 percentile.
To start preparations for CAT 2018 you need to first focus on mastering the basics of each section.
For quantitative ability, you can start preparing through Arun Sharma book which has a good explanation of the theory and question solutions. Also, it provides a high variety of questions with the different difficulty level.
For Verbal ability, you should start reading lots of good novels written by good authors like Charles Dickens, Agatha Christie, Sydney Sheldon etc. This will help you in improving your English Literature. For improving your vocabulary you should start memorizing 3 words daily with their meaning and correct pronunciation. You should start using these words in your daily life so that you can memorize them in a better way. For Reading Comprehension section you should start reading different passages in different newspaper, magazines etc. and understand the thought process of the author. You need to see what actually he wants to convey through his passage, to who is he targeting and his way of communication. This will help you in solving the maximum questions asked below the passage. You should also see the Arun Sharma book to check out and practice the different types of questions asked in the exam.
Along with this, you should start giving lots of online mock test and analyse solutions of each one of the thoroughly which will help you in overcoming your mistakes and come up with a strategy to definitely improve your marks and percentile. It will also help you to know about your strength and weakness which will help you in attempting easy questions first, that will reduce your chance of committing a silly mistake in an easy question or missing out an easy question. Along with this, you will also get enough time to attempt medium level difficult questions which will overall increase your speed with accuracy which leads to increase your percentile. Testfunda, Oliveboard, hitbullseye, cracku.in, youth4work.com, bschool.careers360.com are some of the sites where you can get online mock test papers for all CAT, SNAP and XAT exam
All the best for your preparations!!

Dear Aman,
It is completely fine to get work experience and then go for admission in IIMs. To get admission in IIM, you will have to score well in the CAT exam. Also, you will have to manage your time well with job to prepare for the CAT exam. You will be treated as a fresher only. But, for some opportunities, your work experience may help you.
Since the question was asked months ago, I hope you might have got admission or doing well with your job.
Good Luck!
