Cmat exam will be eligible for iim udaipur for admisson..

Hello naveen,
Well my friend I am afraid cmat is not for iim udaipur.
To get into iim, there is only exam and that is CAT.
Let me tell you a bit about the cat.
TheCommon Admission Test(CAT) is acomputer based testheld in India. The test scores a candidate on the bases ofQuantitative Ability (QA),Verbal Ability (VA) and Reading Comprehension (RC), Data Interpretation (DI)andLogical Reasoning (LR). TheIndian Institutes of Management(IIMs) started this exam and use the test for selecting students for their business administration programs. The test is conducted every year by one of the IIMs based on a policy of rotation.
You need to prepare for cat if you are aiming for iims.

Is is safe to go for new iims?

I'm assuming you are taking about baby IIM's which are Sambalpur, Vizag, Amritsar,etc. Well it depends, if you are looking to learn from a good faculty and you want to do an MBA to have an IIM tag and your work experience is going beyond 36-48 months I would suggest you to take it up but in case you want a good ROI and great opportunities (with respect to profiles offered or a great start) I would say you should prefer other B-schools over since it is too soon to decide how well they will perform on their own.
