how hard is it to get into iisc
IISc is the most prestigious institution in India for the students who are interested in Basic Sciences and Research. Thus to be a part of premiere institution it will need a lot of efforts. Now its dependent on the course in which you take admission in.
For Integrated BS-MS:
For this course you need to qualify the JEE advanced or the KVPY exam in order to be a part of the institution. As you know JEE Advanced is a tough exam as well as KVPY is a moderate exam with a interview (which is quite tough).
For Integrated MSc-PhD:
For this course you have to crack IIT JAM or JEST in order to get admission in this course after your BSc. This also will be followed by an interview.
Thus the general answer is yeah! Its tough to get into IISC but if you are interested in the subject and you have clear concepts as well as creative. Then IISc is a place esepecially for you and you will get a chance there

I got 82 percentile in jee mains 2021 can I get a seat in IISc Bangalore?
Hello aspirant, admission in IISc Bangalore is based on JEE advanced rank and does not depend on JEE mains percentile. For admission in IISc Bangalore you need a very good rank in JEE advanced. The cut off in 2020 for aerospace engineering was under 250 All India Rank in JEE Advance. If you study very hard for JEE advance exam and get a very good rank then only it is possible. But after getting 82 percentile in JEE mains it is difficult to get under 250 rank in JEE advance but not impossible .
However there are other private and state engineering colleges in which you can you can get a seat. To find the colleges based on your JEE percentile visit -

see there is very few institute in India offers m.tech course in robotics, among iits/ iisc, IIT kanpur has m.tech course on robotics and automation. however eligibility conditions states the students from background of Aero Engg, Comp Sc, Elect/Electro/Comm Engg, Mechatronics/Instrum Engg are eligible to apply.
however you may follow the below link to know about the complete list of college name which offers m.tech in robotics engineering:
There are different modes of admission in iisc Banglore(kvpy, jee main and advanced etc) what is the overall requirement one of them or more and if only when than at what ranks?
Assuming youre a General Category Aspirant, you need a Minimum Rank of 250-300 Varying over Years in JEE Main/Advanced/NEET for securing a seat in IISc Bangalore for BS, which is somewhat too unpredictable and tough. However, you have another stream to a IISc Bangalore, which KVPY, though equally tough, but if prepared effectively and strategically in 2 Chances, KVPY SA/SX, there are chances you secure a seat.
However, if you belong to certain Category, you still have certain Relaxations in Cutoffs with the AIR Eligibility Cutoff of OBC at 5000-6000 in JEE Advanced/Main/NEET UG.
