Is studying research in IISc is equivalent to studying research abroad?
While Indian institute of Science is a renowned place for higher education, the way of studying itself cannot be said as the best. I say this because there are many other institutions around the globe way better than this one that can give you a better experience.
I would recommend you to do PhD abroad where you do not have to simply pay fees and not get served for what you have spent. There are many institutions abroad that give you exactly or more than what you have paid for. Doing PhD is no joke and it is not easy as doing your bachelors or master for that matter. You need to have steady flow of funds for your research, paperwork, seminars and other preparations.
What is the difference between studying research in foreign or studying research in India for what particular reasons research studies in foreign are better
Hello Ayush jya,
Indian system follows outdated curriculum and is revised in late intervals but foreign education focus on the recent developments in a subject area.Indian method of assessment is mostly examination based while foreign system assess students through assignments/essays,seminars etc.
With the various funding and scholarship opportunities available, it is definitely a better option to go abroad for higher studies. You may also choose to complete your basic undergraduate degree in India secure a job, work for three to four years ,save money and fund your postgraduate study abroad..
Hope u Understood. All the best!
which is better to do B.sc in IISc banglore or any other international University ,given that I want quality education and the fees should be less than or equal to 6 million??
Hello student,
Indian institute of science Bangalore is second best institute in India. So I will obviously prefer this with any other international universities.
There about 6 BSc courses in this college. All of the degrees are international degrees. And you will get a premium quality education here. You also can get scholarships and good placements from here. And the course fee also will come under 1 lakh.

how is iisc mmgt degree which is best iim Bangalore or iisc
Hey Rajesh
Your question can be explained in simple words- IISc is basically for science and research whereas IIM is for management. If you want to make a career in science you should go for iisc whereas if you are looking for a white collar job you should go for iim. ALthough iisc provides for M.Management but still it is not the first choice for some. I will give you the information I have from those who have studied in IISc- There is 100% placement in management studies with average ctc 16 lakh per annum. Professors are generally PhD. holders from IITs or IIMs with the fees being around 8 times lower than the iims.
Is 81percentile is enough to join IISC,/nits/IITs being a rural student and category of general EWS
But for SC and ST it is 65% atleast..
