marks required for Iist aerospace engineering???
Hello aspirant,
IIST B.Tech 2022 cutoff will be published on the official website of the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology. The cutoff for IIST B.Tech 2022 will be determined by the minimum scores required for admission.
Because there will be no entrance exam, JEE Advanced results will be used to determine the IIST B.Tech cutoff in 2022. Various aspects such as previous year patterns, number of candidates, seats available, JEE Advanced difficulty, and more will be taken into account by the authorities while establishing the IIST B.Tech 2022 cutoff.

I am a student studying in 12th class in the academic year 2021-22, I am not prepared for jee main and advanced this year,I want admission in IIST so I have doubt that if I give both jee main and jee advanced directly in 2023 without appearing in 2022 so can I will be eligible for admission in IIST?
As per the rules of JEE MAINS & ADVANCED if you want to don't appear for the JEE MAINS & ADVANCED 2022 then also you are eligible for the JEE MAINS & ADVANCED 2023 but there is a catch.
JEE MAINS have maximum of 3 attempts i.e., the first attempt is considered to be the year you are in 10+2, the other 2 attempts are in the post 10+2 consecutive years. JEE ADVANCED have maximum of 2 attempts i.e., the first is considered to the year of 10+2 & the other 1 year post 10+2.
So even if you don't sit for the JEE MAINS & ADVANCED keep in mind that for JEE MAINS you will have 1 attempt left after JEE MAINS 2023 & for JEE ADVANCED it would be your final attempt.

All the best:)
if I score less marks or I failed in pre boards in one subject in class 12 ,so will it effect my eligibility criteria for jee mains and jee advanced for admission in IIST?
No, scoring less marks or failing in one subject in your class 12 pre-boards will not directly affect your eligibility criteria for JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, or admission to IIST.
Here's why:
-
Eligibility for JEE Mains and JEE Advanced: These exams have their own specific eligibility criteria based on your qualifying exam (Class 12 board exams) and not your pre-board performance. As long as you meet the minimum marks requirement in your Class 12 boards , you can appear for these exams.
-
Admission to IIST: IIST considers your JEE Advanced rank for admission to their undergraduate programs. Your pre-board marks do not play any role in the selection process.
However, it's important to remember that:
-
Pre-boards are a valuable practice tool: They help you identify your strengths and weaknesses, assess your exam preparedness, and get familiar with the exam format. While not directly impacting eligibility, poor performance in pre-boards might indicate areas needing improvement for the actual JEE exams.
-
Focus on improvement: Use your pre-board results as a learning opportunity. Analyze your mistakes, identify the subjects or topics you struggled with, and work on strengthening your understanding in those areas. This will help you perform better in the actual JEE exams and increase your chances of securing admission to IIST.
Therefore, while pre-board marks are not a deciding factor for eligibility, they can serve as a valuable indicator of your preparation and highlight areas requiring improvement. So, focus on learning from your mistakes and strive to improve your performance in the upcoming exams.
