There is two types of cutoff one is eligibility cutoff and second is admission cutoff candidate applying through the jee advanced exam have to score the marks under the released cutoff off to apply for IIST.
IIST cutoff of 2020:-
General- 72
SC- 36
ST- 36
OBC- 65

For UG course you must register online,through IIST website.After the registration process the Institute generates the admission list. The selection for B.tech or dual B.tech is done based on candidates valid score in JEE advanced and councelling round.

According to reports, IIST 2020 Rank List for PG courses was to be released on 17th June 2020 i.e today. The Rank List will be released for UG & PG courses through online mode. Till now, there are no updates about it. The authorities has released the eligibility criteria of IIST M.Tech admissions 2020 on the official website. It depends on the course and category you belong.Here is the JEE Advanced cut off in 2019 for Aerospace, Electronics and Dual Degree respectively category wise
- General: 801, 847, 702
- OBC: 308, 338. 391
- SC:139, 176, 29
- ST:60, 56, 63
- EWS:124, 123, 146
However, in 2020 the cut off will change depending on number of candidates available, difficulty of exam, number of seats available.

Aerospace Engineering in IIST is a undergraduate program.The eligibility is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with 75% aggregate for SC/ST/PWD it is 65% aggregate.Canddiates must have studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry along with a language and any other subject other than the above mentioned four subjects.The admission is based on merit in JEE Advanced.Candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1994, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD must have been born on or after October 1, 1989. You need to fulfill the above eligibility criteria.

indian institute of space science and technology offers 4 years btech course on the basis of jee advance score, however there is no lateral entry exams option in iist, also the eligibility criteria is you need to score 75% aggregate marks in 10+2 course from a recognized education board.

For admission in MSc Chemistry, candidates need to apply online by filling up the form.The shortlisted candidates are asked to appear for a written test or for an interview.Selected students are notified by the institute.
The application filling would start from 12th April,2020 and would last by 30th April.The form would be available on the official website of IIST.The application fees is 600/- per department for general category applicants and 300/- per department for SC,ST,PD and women applicants.
