IIT Patna or IIT Bhubaneswar which is better for CSE ?
Hello student,
If we compare between those two Indian institute of technologies we can find which is much better for computer science and Engineering and for other courses as well.
All kinds of facilities in IIT Patna is superior in the term of transportation as well as the college campus and all. The average CTC of of iit
patna is near about 15lakhs han jyada and IIT Bhubaneswar has quite much more CTC. The highest salary package of of IIT Patna is 47 lpa but for IIT Bhubaneswar it is only 43. The course fee IIT Patna is near about 8.45 lakhs. Course fee in in IIT Bhubaneswar is 8.5 lakhs. But according to an NIRFS ranking IIT Bhubaneswar has quite much more higher ranking. That's why I will tell IIT Bhubaneswar is the best choice. However the last decision is yours. You can go to this link below to know more about
iit patna eee vs iit Bhubaneswar electrical engineering
Hello,
Congratulations on getting such good college and branch options. I will give you a preference which will comprise of all these factors:
- Overall ranking
- Infrastructure
- Location/accessibility
- Branch that you are been offered(Core/interdisciplinary)
- Placement opportunities
- Industry Exposure
The preference order you should consider is:
- IIT Patna
- IIT Bhubaneshwar
Both colleges don't have much difference so I would suggest that choose a branch of your preference.
I would also like to add here that an engineering course should be very much taken with an interest in the field so I would suggest you to consider that factor and if you are not aware of the branches mentioned look them up on the internet more reliable will be to go through the syllabus on the respective colleges' website. An interest in the field is the key factor in deciding how your 4 years of college will be and what opportunities you will land for yourself.

With 8.6 CGPA, 1 paper published in IJERT, 3 Cyber Security internships, volunteer in NGO, GRE Verbal 152, Quant 160, AW 4.0, 2 LoR from College Professor and 1 LoR from IIT Bhubaneswar Professor as paper guide. will this person get admitted to MS Security Informatics in Johns Hopkins for Fall 2022?
Hi, your CGPA is good enough. Coming to your GRE score it falls under the range for Johns Hopkins university. Try getting 1 LOR from HOD if you already have that great. Usually everyone takes LOR from PhD holders of the college. So, you see if you have those. The LOR from an IIT Professor will have a great impact. Make sure that you enhance and write about your paper in detail in the LOR as well. Your internships are great. You can also ask them to give you an LOR. If not it is ok. Overall this person has a chance of getting into the college as their range of accepting marks of GRE is around 150. Hope this helps.
Considering CSE which is the best among them, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Patna, IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Dhanbad
IIT Gandhinagar after IIT Indore is perhaps the fastest growing IIT, with excellent academic and employer outlook, overtaking much Older Institutes like IIT ISM. HENCE your first Preference should be IIT GN CSE followed by IIT Patna, Bhubaneshwar, Mandi and IIT ISM.

Hi, I am pursuing B.Tech(Civil) in IIT Bhubaneswar admitted in 2020(2nd year ongoing). Recently I abruptly appeared for JEE Main and secured 6700 rank. Please guide what should I do? I am extremely confused.
Hi,
Since you are currently pursuing BTech from IIT, You won't be eligible to get seats in IIT again on the basis of JEE Advanced 2021. However you can get admission into NITs of your choice. Since you had good rank in JEE Mains, you could easily get top NITs. I hope this will solve you query.
To know which Branch you can get into, you should use this tool : JEE Mains 2021 College Predictor

if I get 50 to 55 in gate civil engineering is there any chance to get new IIT ( general) IIT BHUBANESWAR or others for environment or water resources engineering?
Hello aspirant,
Yes, you have a fair chance of getting the new IIT's. However, I would suggest getting a score of 55+. You should aim for a high score in GATE, as it increases the chances of getting good marks and helps prepare w ell for the exam.
Usually, for civil engineering, or to pursue Mtech in any civil engineering branch a rank below 2000 is good to get into IIT's but if you are targeting top IITs"s then anything below 500 will help you.
Additionally, you could also check the previous year cut off trends
