Can one appearing for jee exam can claim both EWS and OBC-NCL reservations at a time? If not suggest a best reservation.
hi,
see one can not apply for two reservation category simultaneously. you have to select only one category let it be ews, general or obc ncl. now see ews category has 10% seats reservation, Non Creamy Layer of Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) reservation has 27% of seats. so obc ncl has larger percentage compare to ews. however the chances of securing seats also depends on number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix etc.
hope it would help.

Is there any limitations of iit, that only 2 years are allowed after 12th for entrance in iit?
Dear aspirant,
As per the rule the candidate can attempt examination at most two times in two consecutive years. Candidates should be less than 25 years of age, with five-year relaxation for SC, ST, and PwD candidates provided candidates should have qualified the examination
I have not studied 11th not even a chapter now I am in 12th standard and I will be giving the the JEE in the 2022. now I am tensed , completely messed and helpless too . can you help me please I am helpless very happy
You need not to worry about the same.
The questions in JEE mains are asked 50% from 11th and 50% from 12th.
So,as of now focus on 12th completely and revise it well. The preparations will end by the end of the year.
Then you can start with basics of 11th again for some months. However, you have to appear boards as well. So keep few months for boards and revise 12th from JEE point of view as well during those months.
You will get nearly 1 and half months after boards for JEE mains preparations. Try to finish the left over portions from 11th during those months and revise the ones you already studied before.
Note- Prepare a standard and smart time-table for yourself for the preparations. Follow the schedule strictly.
Books you need to cover to clear your concepts -
1.NCERT - This is the most important book to cover. Clear all your basic concepts in Physics,Chemistry and Maths from NCERTs. Most of the questions in JEE Mains are asked from NCERT books. However NCERTs have some difficult concepts as well which will take time. So you can prefer Pradeep's Fundamental Physics and Chemistry for 11th and 12th for easy understanding.
2.After NCERTs and Pradeep, start with H.C Verma in Physics and give mock tests. In case of Chemistry you can go for GRB publication books.
3.For Maths, after NCERT,try to finish the important chapters from R.D Sharma or the chapters in which you are good from R.D Sharma. Since R.D Sharma can't be finished easily in short span of time. So go with the chapters you can do well or the chapters which will cover important topics.
4.Give a lot of mock tests and revise well before the exam.
Along with this, check last 5 years JEE questions to understand the pattern and difficulty level. Determine your weak and strong areas from these papers. Prepare accordingly.
5. Subscribe to a good coaching centre. Appear the mock tests they provide regularly. Clear your concepts and ask doubts to your mentors or go for online clarifications of doubts. Prepare well from the materials they provide you for the preparations.
Have patience and study calmly. You can make it. Perseverance and determination are highly recommended.
can I do iit after Diploma in ceramics engineering
Hi
Yes ,you can get admission in IIT with your qualification of diploma in ceramic engineering provided you fulfill rest of the criteria
This is because,
3 year diploma in Engineering which is approved by either AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education is equivalent to 10 + 2 in order to be eligible for JEE main and JEE advanced examination
Admission in IIT is through JEE advanced examination, so for reference eligibility criteria of JEE advanced is provided below:-

kya 18 month preparation karke iit delhi mil sakta h
Hi Aspirant,
Time matters but concentration matters more.If you can pursue hard work and concentration level for the 18th months then you can surely succeed.Cracking JEE advanced lies in understanding the fundamentals along with practising lots of numericals and previous years paper to understand the pattern. So study hard and you will surely succeed.Practise lots of maths since the maximum number of marks you can score from that part.
Hope it helps!!
dear mam/sir,now I study m.sc in mathematics at iit delhi in 1st semester course, our class start at 28/september but I joined class very late that is 20/November.currently I didnt understand any of the course . and exam question of iit are why tough so i nervous and want to leave for bank coaching?
Dear Aspirant,
You joined your classes late & now you are finding it difficult to understand the concepts. Did you inform the college about your lack of understanding of topics? You will have to get in touch with your fellow batchmates & ask them for helping you understand the topics. Either wise ask the professor if he/she could help you understand the concepts again. You have got to try understanding the concepts before you can think of leaving the course. It's quite a thing to be leaving your course midway for bank coaching. If you are seriously interested for banking coaching, ask people around you if you are doing the right decision. You need to talk with people about your decision, your family, friends & professors too. If you are not happy with your course, thats a different talk altogether but you need to ask yourself why you are thinking of doing so.
And if you are thinking of doing banking coaching, it's a question totally for you to solve. After all, it's yoir life & you know yourself the best. Think thoroughly before making any decision from all the sides.
Best of luck, mate. Thanks, hope it helped.
GEM fresher CAT percentile 99.13(VA 99.5 DILR 68.84 Quants 99.48). What calls to expect among IIT D, Kgp, Madras, NITIE, FMS?
Dear aspirant,
As far as FMS is concerned there is no chance to get a call from this as the sectional cut off is very high according to your score.
But you can accept a call from iit kgp, madras and delhi too. Even nitie is not possible to crack because of your file sectional cut off because it is 80 percentile for each subject.

How much do a student in general category want in jee mains to get admission in IIT Delhi for mechanical engineering?
Hello Aspirant,
See IITs takes admission for their B.Tech course on the basis of score of JEE-Advance not JEE-Mains but yes one need to qualify JEE-Mains to sit for JEE-Advance and the expected qualifying cut-offs for JEE-Main 2021 are described below :-
- Common Rank List (CRL) - 90- 95 Percentile
- GEN-EWS - 70- 75 Percentile
- Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 70- 75 Percentile
- Scheduled Caste (SC) - 50- 55 Percentile
- Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 40- 45 Percentile
- PwD - 1-2 Percentile
Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2021 but expected on the basis of previous year's analysis. You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff
Now coming to the rank needed to get into IIT Delhi with Mechanical Engineering(ME) branch, so as we go through the latest cut-off of 2020 then it shows that the closing rank for Open(General) category was 1464 for ME branch in IIT Delhi. See it is quite difficult to tell you about exact marks to score because for JEE-Advance no maximum marks are fixed but yes with regards to JEE-Advance 2021 if you secure your AIR in JEE-Advance under top 1450 then there are good chances for you to get ME branch in IIT Delhi.
You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
