Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level post-graduate entrance exam that is jointly conducted by the seven IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Guwahati, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore for admission to M.Tech programmes offered by government as well as many private institutes.

GATE 2019 was organized by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras in online mode on February 2, 3, 9 and 10, 2019.

COAP is conducted by IITs (IIT Madras in 2019) to facilitate admissions of aspirants in M.Tech programs of IITs. The candidates after applying to the IITs of their choice on the basis of the GATE scores, have to necessrily apply for COAP.

CCMT is conducted for admissions to M.Tech programs of NITs by different NITs (NIT Rourkela in 2019).

The marks required for civil branch or any other branch depends on not only on marks rather depends on various factor:

1.difficulty level of the paper

2.Number of students appeared

Both of these are the basis of cut off of the paper .And cut off of the paper can determine your rank and college you will get in .You will have to qualify in each subjects to overall qualify in JEE Advance.

Your Rank would change Either Your Percentile Score is Increases in the next attempt or Number of Student increases in the Next attemptIf the Number of Student Increases to 1400000 and Your percentile remain same then Your New rank would be 109946

As per Your current Performance You may be eligible for JEE Advance But the final cutoff will be released once the JEE Main April gets Over

If Your Percentile Score Increases in the Next attempt Then Your Rank would Be calculated By the Following Formula

Cutoff is only available in ranks and not marks. Last year in 2017 cutoff was 24rank in CSE PWD category .

I think you should choose your favourite branch. After physics you will become teacher . I think you should go with DTU. Your branch is superb CSE and also college DTU is awesome.

For admission in IIT, Guwahati in 2017 for the ST Category thr opening rank was 233 and the closing rank was 321 for the ECE rank. Considering your ST category rank, you seem to have some chances.
