any idea about IIT Kanpur last score for vlsi from electrical (obc) in 2019?
The cutoff for Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) depicts the minimum scores needed to avail admissions to M.Tech at the IITs, NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded institutes and private institutes across the country. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2020 Cutoff deals with the basic score required by a student to be considered for admission to the M.Tech courses and differs from institute to institute as well as discipline. There are various factors that determine the GATE 2020 cutoff for ECE like difficulty level of GATE total number of applications and previous years trends of cutoffs, etc. GATE cutoff for ECE varies from branch to branch and institute to institute. Individual departments at the institutes will determine GATE 2020 Cutoff for ECE.
Hope you understand,
Thank you
Im a diploma student, is there entry for the electrical engineering in iit, Kanpur or any other iits for the diploma students.
hi!
For admission in NIT, candidate must appear for JEE Mains. Unless you appear for the entrance exam you won't get admission in National Institute of Technology. The eligibility criteria for entrance exam is 12th with PCM as the subjects.
Apart from IIT and NIT, most colleges in India offer lateral entry for diploma students. These colleges do reserve some seats for lateral entry students.
Hello friends I want to study in IIT kanpur from CS branch what mark should I focus in JEE advance so that I can get that college
Hi aspirant
thanks for asking your query ,each year cutoff of every government institute changes it is based on the paper toughness and pattern. Each year paper of jee advance has different marking scheme therefore it is difficult to predict the cutoff of any institute therefore for guess marks you should atleast score 30 percent in paper to get such college.
How to get a M.Tech admission in IIT kanpur r IISC
Give Gate examination get a good rank. After gate results apply at IISC in the courses of your choices.prepare for interview and do well in it and you are through to IISC.
let me know in the comment box if you are having any further doubts
hope you find it helpful

NIT Trichy VLSI or IIT Kanpur Communication Systems/Rf and Microwave?
See both colleges top college in their category. Both branch is also good in their own. You can't differentiate between them just by some facts.
It should be completely dependent on your choice and what you like. If you like analog electronics and digital , then VLSI is best for you. But if you like and you have good knowledge in electromagnetic theory and antenna communication then RF microwave is best for you.
Placement wise both college are same. But being IIT IITK attracts more companies.
But it is completely upto you. Where should you go. If you have no choice at all, then go for IIT KANPUR.
Thank you.
Iit kanpur vs iit roorkee(easier branch change from chemistry)
See Ritik this has became a common mindset of candidates that they would join some college then after 1 year they would do branch change. Rather than focusing on their curricullum they start to focus on branch change. This affects their results also.
But as you have asked IIT Kanpur vs IIT Roorkee branch change so i will suggest iit kanpur because they have a slighter flexibility in branch change. Branch change is possible at the end of 2nd, 3rd, 4th semester. Although you have to work very hard in order to score near to 10 cgpa for cse, around 9 for electrical, mechanical.
But i would suggest you to go with what you like rather than going with what people says.
Minimum rank to get admission in IIT kanpur and IIT bhu, branch dont matter, category general
Hi dear,
Hope you are doing well!
Now let's go through your question.
As you will be knowing that if you will clear the cutoff specified by IIT Kanpur/BHU shall be considered for the admission process. But remember that not all the candidates who clear the cutoff may get admission in IIT Kanpur courses.
And the final selection of the candidates shall be based on the components specified the institute.
Moreover, for some courses, IIT Kanpur/BHU may conduct a separate written test and interview to select the aspirants.
The minimum rank you have to secure to get IIT-K is somewhere around 8k-10k & for IIT-BHU is 9k-13k(approx) in JEE Advance.
Thank You & All the best!

Iit kanpur civil vs iiit allahabad Information technology
Hi Ritik!
Let me guess, your cleared the JEE Advanced 2019 and want to know whether civil engg is your thing and you're deciding your future in terms of moolah which you may or may not make inspite of joining a so called "good" branch.
It all depends on your ability to excel regardless of what you choose to study so please dude stop being the "neighbourhood uncle/aunty" who judge you by what you would be supposedly making 4 years down the line.
Its also upon your interest. If you like computers and want a job in IT company in future, you can go for IIITA. But you will miss IIT kanpur like college life and an iitian tag. So its all upon you whether you want to work in non core sector with an iitian tag or in a IT sector with a high pay job.

Thank you and good luck.
