i got gate score 696 AIR 1400 in general category civil engg. what is chances of getting structure or geotech in IIT kanpur?

As you can see, you've pretty good chances to get into some of these branches.
Structural engineering usually has the highest cutoff so that could be a bit difficult to get in.

I want to know that how many question does come from each chapter classs 11 12 approx result
In Physics, the weightage of syllabus of class 11 and 12 is almost equal -- it is around 50% for each. Some important chapters of Physics in class 11 include Waves, Simple Harmonic Motion, Units and Dimensions, Rotational Motion, and Newtons Laws of Motion. The class 12 Physics topics that carry heavy weightage in JEE include Electrostatics, Magnetism, Current Electricity, Optics, Modern Physics.
In JEE chemistry, generally, the weightage of class 12 syllabus is more than that of class 11. Generally, the weightage of class 11 chemistry syllabus in JEE is around 30% to 40%.Some topics of class 11 chemistry that are quite important from the point of view of JEE questions are Chemical Bonding, Chemical Equilibrium, Gaseous State, Atomic Structure, General Organic Chemistry, and Stoichiometry.
Generally, the weightage of topics of class 11 mathematics is 40% to 50% in JEE. Some of the important topics of class 11 mathematics, that are important from the perspective of JEE questions are Coordinate Geometry, Permutations and Combinations, Probability, Complex Numbers, Binomial Theorem, and Progressions. Matrices, Calculus, Vectors and Three-dimensional Geometry are some of the class 12 mathematics topics that are important from JEE perspective.

yes once you are shortlisted, you will be called for the interview
some questions that were asked in the interview were
- Draw the derivative and integral of a function by simply observing it. No computation.
- What Eigen function or Eigen vector conceptually? What does eigen value siginify?
- Relation between exponential and Poisson distribution?
- Event happening with poisson stats. How you will derive stats for time gap between alternate events.
- write drichlets condition and explain wid example
- causal system
- time invarient system
- suppose there is a real time invarient signal , then what kind of symmetry , the frequency domain have and prove it ?
