Mechanical Engineering at IIT Roorkee is a better option. It is the oldest Engineering college in India and Mechanical is a fairly vast field, often called the Evergreen branch of Engineering.

It's good enough, faculties are fine, labs do have equipments, infrastructure is ok.

if you are going for IIT roorkee then all the branches are best so just go for whatever branch you like and if you are asking for Alternate hydro energy at IIT roorkee then from my point of view it is best because in this field you will
