• The eligibility criteria to apply for AA is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 examination and 60% or more marks in Mathematics, Physics an of td any of these subjects Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognized by Ministry of Education, Government  of India.
• To apply for SSR a candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics and any of these subjects Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognized by Ministry of Education, Government of India.
• Candidates should have been born between 01 August 2002 to 31 July 2005

While applying for Indian Navy AA and SSR recruitment you must upload the original documents and carry the same original documents at the time of written test and Physical Fitness Test. As you are still appearing in the qualifying examination that is 10+2 you are not eligible to apply for Indian Navy AA and SSR August 2022 Batch. Indian Navy AA and SSR Recruitment will be conducted twice in a year. You can apply for upcoming cycle for which the notification will be released in June/July.

To be eligible for Indian Navy you must have Science in class 12, with Physics & Mathematics and English as mandatory subjects. So if you do commerce in your 10+2 level you will not be eligible for the Indian Navy. You will be eligible for The Indian Army but not the Navy or Air force. Entry into the Indian Navy is mostly through entrance exams like NDA/ NDA (Naval Academy) after class 12. So it's better if you do your 10+2 level with science rather than commerce. There is no direct recruitment of dentists in Indian Navy.

Armed forces Medical corps and Dental Corps are triservices i.e. they provide services to all three branches of armed forces namely Army, Air force & Navy. So first you get recruited/join in Army dental corps, then after 5 years of physical service in army you can apply for change of service/uniform depending upon yearly vaccancies in Navy and Airforce.

Selection is held once a year through a written exam on all India basis followed by an Interview at Pune. Advertisement published in National / Regional newspaper in Jan every year. 1. BDS with minimum 60% marks in final year/ MDS from a recognized Dental College of University.

As you mentioned you belong to commerce stream you can only join Indian Army (not navy) after 12th through NDA entry,or even later after graduation through CDS as far as officer cadre is concerned. Officers joining air force and navy need to be of science background.

For Navy, cadet should be a Naval wing NCC cadet also must have a B.Tech degree. No 3 year degrees like B.Sc, BA , B.com are allowed.

you can join the merchant navy course after 12th class from the commerce stream . Any Class X pass students or higher but from non-science background can join the Merchant Navy by enrolling for the GP Rating Course. Candidates should be physically and medically fit, as per Merchant Shipping rules.

There are various ways to join in Indian Navy after passing Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

• Common Defence Service Entrance Examination (CDSE): You must have passed Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized board. Your age must be in between 19-24 years. Only Male candidates are eligible to apply.
• NCC Entry: You must have obtained NCC ‘C’ certificate with minimum ‘B’ grading and 50% marks in Bachelor's degree from a recognized board.
• Short Service Commission: Indian Navy will release the notification along with the vacancies and the required eligibility criteria to apply. Please check the eligibility criteria before applying.

There are no direct entries to join in Indian Navy. You must appear for the written test in case of CDS and if you qualify you will be called for SSB Interview. The selection through SSC Entry and NCC Entry will be based on the score in the qualifying examination. Candidates shortlisting need to attend SSB Interview.
