Can i do Ma from ignou this year(2023) and B.ED from distance from any other University next year(2024)?
Hello Aspirant
Doing 2 courses at the same time is not unheard of and is actually a good option, rather than doing another degree later. It saves time and looks good on your resume. But, keep in mind your future goals because that plays a big role in deciding which course you'll be doing via distance education. If you wish to become a teacher, I would suggest do your BEd from regular college, and not distant because schools prefer teachers who have in hand experience in BEd course.
If you are planning to do both courses from distance education, please don't. It serves you no good and is a waste of money and time. I'll suggest you to do at least one of the degrees from a regular college.
I have done both B.A. and M.A. in english but did not have hindi in both masters and graduation. Now I want to do M.A. in hindi from IGNOU. Am I eligible to sit in SSC(JHT)??
Yes, you are eligible to sit for the SSC (Junior Hindi Translator) exam even if you did not study Hindi in your B.A. or M.A. in English.
The SSC JHT exam evaluates a candidate's proficiency in Hindi and English. While having studied Hindi in your previous degrees can be beneficial, it is not a strict requirement. As long as you meet the general eligibility criteria for the exam (such as educational qualifications and age limits), you can apply and appear for it.
However, it's advisable to prepare thoroughly for the Hindi language section of the exam. You might want to consider taking Hindi language courses or practicing Hindi grammar and vocabulary to enhance your skills.
