I am getting ceramic, biotechnology, biomedical and industrial design at NIT ROURKELA. what should be my preference order in term of placement and future scope? OR should I take cse in local state government colleges?
Honestly dear Computer Science Engineering is such a stream, everyone is aiming to get this course. But there are other courses like Ceramic , Biotechnology etc. that can be equally important as that of CSE. Out of the options that you chose Biotechnology has the best placements considering the ongoing trends. But if you want to pursue your higher studies in future then Biomedical and Industrial Design gives you immense scope for that. Since it's NIT ROURKELA don't miss this chance , because placements are very good in that Campus. Instead of running for CSE, be ready and choose the one you prefer.
Good luck!!

difference between b.tech biotechnology and b.tech industrial biotechnology
hi,
see b.tech in biotechnology is 4 years duration course. biotechnology comes under interdisciplinary stream and has wide applications in healthcare products, agriculture, food processing, waste management, energy production etc. whether Industrial biotechnology is more focused on manufacturing and production process related with biotechnology. as per job recruitment In India there is mostly research oriented work profile available for biotechnology graduates. I would recommend to pursue b.tech in biotechnology other than industrial biotechnology.

after mtech in biotechnology which one line is good... job in industrial biotechnology Or job in R&D section (because I have a little bit more interest in molecular bio genetis)
Hi Aspirant,
Both the fields industrial job as well as Research and Development(R&D) are good. You can go after your interest in both the fields. Actually you can get the benefit of both by joining the R&D department of a company or industry. There you will have an exposure to industry as well as researches . Actually R&D department of a company is the one who plays a great role in keeping the company at top in industrial competition. It is the one who is responsible to innovate and design new products and improve their existing offerings.
Hope this helps you.
All the best!!!
can i get be industrial biotechnology with pcb marks in anna University??
To get into B.Tech Industrial Biotechnology in Anna University, the eligibility criteria is that you should have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as your major subjects in class 12.
B.Tech in Industrial Biotechnology requires a knowledge of mathematical concepts like algebra, calculus, statistics, probability, functions, equations etc. Hence you should have Mathematics as one of your major subject.
If you have Biology as your side subject and Mathematics as your major, then you are eligible for the course. But with only PCB you cannot get into the course. With PCB subjects you can get into BSc. Biotechnology but for B.Tech you need Maths compulsorily.
