I have scored English - 82 Informatics practices - 86 Physical education -93 Chemistry- 63 Physics- 73 Maths - 62 am I eligible for 75% criteria or not
Hello,
Your profile suggests you are an Engineering Aspirant, so i am hopeful that query is regarding your eligibility for JEE Mains and Advanced Examination with concern to 75% criteria.
-------- So the 75% rule states that candidate must have scored an aggregate of 75% in Class XII Board Examination. Also the candidate must have 5 subjects that must be - Physics, Chemistry, Maths, 1 Language ( English - in your case) and 1 more subject ( you can consider PE).
------ Now the aggregate score in your case is 82+93+63+62+73 / 5 = 74.6% which is less than the required 75%.
So, Unfortunately you don't fulfil the 75% criteria.
Thank you.
i have a 7000 rank in srmjee...i attempted pcb.....can i choose cs instead of biotech or any course related to cs/it/ece etc i even had informatics practices [aware about the basics of coding in python and mysql ] as a subject in 12th? please suggest a way to enter cs...thank you
Hello Student
As you have PCB group of subjects in 12th class science examination and appeared for SRMjee and got 7000 rank. Now you are interested to take computer science engineering with PCB group of 12 class science subjects. But mathematics is an compulsory and an essential subject in computer science. So there is no chance for getting computer science enginering through SRMjee with PCB group of subjects. Otherwise you take mathematics as an special subject in computer science engineering course.
Hope this will help.
Can I take IP Informatics Practices with PCB in class 11? Is it a good combination or can I take PE?
Hello there
Of course you can take Informatics practices along with your physics , chemistry and Biology but I would suggest you that took this subject only if you have interest in it as you will have to give additional time apart from your physics, chemistry and Biology subjects into it if you are taking it. It's a good combination no doubt but without Informatics practices also you will he be having great scopes.
And of course you can take physical education also and it's a very easy subject and if you want to appear for any medical entrance examination then it will save much of your time and you can focus on the desired subject which is in need for the entrance examination.
I hope it helps you!
Thank you!
Can a 12th commerce student with Informatics Practices as an optional subject join BCA Cloud technology and information security ?
For BCA course there are no such criteria about the subject combination of the 10+2.
BCA course we need at least 50% marks in 10+2 in any stream. So if you want to go for the course, then you are eligible for most of the colleges.

I am jee 2022 aspirant and my fifth subject is informatics practices will I be able to give exam with physics, maths and IP??
hi,
the basic eligibility criteria to appear in jee main exam is candidates must complete 12th exam in science stream from a recognized education board. Candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in their 10+2 / qualifying examination.
jee main paper 1 questions would be based on 12th syllabus of physics, chemistry, mathematics. to admission in iits you must have studied pcm and any other subject as optional like statistics/ biology,/ biotechnology etc is necessary.
since you did not studied chemistry you would not eligible to appear in jee main exam.
hope you understand.
My combination in class12 is physics, chemistry, math and informatics practices . will I be able to study biotech ?
As you know B. Sc Biotechnology is a full time 3 years course. And you told, you have maths as your optional subject in 10+2 , I would like to tell you that the basic eligibility criteria for pursuing B. Sc Biotechnology is qualifying 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry , Biology or Mathematics .
So, congratulations you are 100% eligible to pursue B. Sc Biotechnology .
I hope that helps.
Thank you.
i am present year ..12 th cbse bipc student....with informatics practices ( 2nd language ) i want to change my career stream to btech computer science (data science) how can i apply for it ...i dont have maths in 12 th...i really have no other way than going in computer stream...is there any way....
Hi
I am extremely sorry to inform you dear but being student of BiPC i. e biology, physics chemistry you are are not eligible for BTech computer science.
This is because,
It is compulsory to have studied maths in 10 + 2 in order to pursue BTech computer science so if you wanted to pursue it you should have done 10 + 2 with maths , physics and chemistry.
But yes,
As you are interested in BTech I would like to tell you that you can go for B tech biotechnology without Maths. Though not all colleges offer it to student without maths but we do have some colleges like VIT.
VIT offers B tech biotechnology to Biology students.
For example,
To be eligible VITEEE exam for btech biotechnology , one needs an aggregate of at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology in 12tg board exam or 50 % in aggregate of physics chemistry maths/ biology is belongs to SC or St category
So, both Math and Biology students are eligible for B tech biotechnology in VIT .So being a Biology student you can pursue BTech biotechnology in VIT

Thank you
i have passed cbse 2020 but i am not satisfied with my informatics practices (old) subject marks . i have submitted improvement form for this subject. is syllabus reduced for this improvement exam 2021 or the whole syllabus will come
Hello,
The Syllabus of CBSE Improvement Form 2021 is same as Syllabus of main board exam that is to be held in 2021and the exam will be held with regular students. So I advise you to check and prepare according to the new syllabus of informatics practices that the regular students are preparing as questions based on that syllabus will be asked,
All the best!
