I am arts stream student. I dont have math but I have Information practices. Can i enroll in BCA colleges. Secondly, which subject I can choose for BCA in CUET exam details.
Hello Aspirant
The eligibility criteria for getting admitted to the BCA course is that the candidate must have Computer Science or any equivalent subject (IP or Information Practices, in your case) in their 12th grade, and they must have an aggregate of 55% in it. Having Mathematics is not a necessary requirement for BCA.
In your CUET UG BCA form, you can choose IP/CS as your desired subject.
Hope this helps
Ihave 6 subjects in my board examination physics chemistry maths english Information practices and physical education 1.my board percentage is 72 in which subjects are pcm english ip 2.My board percentage os 77 in which subjects are pcm English physical education can i drop for jee 2023
Hello,
-------- As far as the 75% rule is concerned, the 75% rule states that candidate must have scored an aggregate of 75% in Class XII Board Examination.
------ Also the candidate must have 5 subjects that must be - Physics, Chemistry, Maths, 1 Language ( English - in your case) and 1 more subject.
----- In your case the 5th subject can be any one between Information Practices and Physical Education.
----- Since with Physical Education as 5th Subject your class XIIth aggregate is more than 75%, you are eligible for JEE Mains 2023 Examination.

do we need to have maths , computer science or information practices as a subject in class 12th to pursue any IT course ?
Hi aspirant,
It depends upon which information Technology related course you want to pursue. Suppose you want to do BTech then it is certainly not possible without mathematics as it is a compulsory subject with some exceptions of biotechnology and bio Engineering subjects. Now if we talk about bachelors in computer applications then it may be possible because some colleges allows students without mathematics also. Computer science and information practices are optional subjects and generally not put up as a requisite by the colleges.
Hope it helps!

Hello,
Generally speaking candidates who have passed 10+2 from a recognized board in any stream securing 50% aggregate, admission process may be done through entrance test conducted by university or it can be based on the merit of the qualifying examination, the program comprises of business economics/business mathematics/financial accounting and analysis/business statistics/r programming/python programming/financial management/hr management/business analytics/artificial intelligence/financial market and risk/digital marketing etc, you may check out the detailed information by visiting the official website of the university you're interested in applying for, I have just provided a general overview, if you're interested in exploring BBA Fintech then you have to put in extra efforts in terms of learning new concepts that's now known to you earlier, since the eligibility criteria doesn't put any emphasis on having studied any specific subject combinations, it rests with the individual choice to take up the course, also the domain holds much prominence now and even the time to come as it's constantly evolving.
what can I do after passed class 12th commerce with Information practices
After 12th commerce if you want to go for professional courses which you have no link with commerce, then I would recommend you to go for BCA course or Bachelor of Computer Application. This course enables a student to study about computer programming and data management etc. SO if you wish to go for IT sector then it would be better for your to go for BCA.
Now apart from this you can go for BCOM or BBA course. BBA is a mangement course where as BCOM is a pure course of studying the subject matter of BCOM. This are the most preferred choices a student of Commerce opt for after 12.

I have completed my Class 12th Board Exams (J&K State Board) in Decembr and the results should be out by March. I am a PCB student with Information Practices as additional subject. I am looking forward to study abroad (mostly Canada or U.S) What are my options in subjects and what to prepare for?
With your background in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and Information Practices, you have a wide range of options for studying abroad in Canada or the U.S. In the medical and life sciences fields, you can pursue degrees in Medicine, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or Environmental Science. If you're inclined towards technology, you might consider Computer Science, Information Technology, or Bioinformatics, leveraging your additional subject knowledge. To prepare, you should focus on achieving high scores in your board exams and standardized tests like the SAT or ACT, and if applicable, the TOEFL or IELTS for English proficiency. Additionally, research the specific admission requirements of your target universities, gather recommendation letters, and work on a compelling personal statement.
what can i do after 12th class i have pcm with information practices &i am a 75% scoring student
You can do everything you want in life. After PCM there are lots of things other than engineering. You can go to Designing, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Bachelors in Science, Teaching, and some other courses. Use your time wisely and decide what you like because that's the only thing that matters in the end. And you can do engineering too.
Feel free to ask for any queries. GOOD LUCK!!!
