NCERT book enough for jee mains inorganic chemistry???
Hello Aspirant ,
Yes , NCERT of class 11 and 12 chemistry is enough to score 80% marks in JEE Mains organic chemistry section which is a very good score , but you will have to complete each and every thing and supplement it with previous year question papers .
If you have time then you can refer to other books such as OP tondon or JD LEE.
Hope this helps.
How much marks can I get in JEE MAINS Chemistry if I have studied only physical and inorganic Chemistry . I did not studied organic chemistry
hello aspirant,
It is very difficult to predict the marks as the number of questions keeps changing. If you have not studied inorganic chemistry then it;s fine, because most of questions asked in Chemistry paper in JEE mains comes from the Organic and Physical Chemistry part. You must attempt the organic and Physical Chemistry as they have a weightage equal to 30% and 35% respectively in JEE mains. Whereas, the inorganic c=part in chemistry paper is of 35% weightage, but you can leave this part as you can attempt both organic and physical.

How to study inorganic chemistry in jee mains 2022 June Attempt?
Dear aspirant,
Many students generally find it difficult to learn reaction, exception and imp. compound and their formula and therefore don't like inorganic chemistry. But it is very helpful and save much time in jee if answers is known.
The best way to learn inorganic chemistry is to read notes or material daily once. Recommended make short notes or highlight important points you think that you are not able to recall. Daily 1 hr only reading will give much confidence in the subject. In the long run it will definitely benifit in memorizing concept and theory.
can I study Inorganic chemistry without studying physical chemistry for IIT jee????
Hello Aspirant,
You can but you will face lot of problems, this is because Physical Chemistry consists of very basis concepts like Mole concept which is required throughout Chemistry part whether it is Organic or Inorganic. So for JEE-Advance and JEE-Main like national level entrance examination it would not be the wise decision to leave any of the part of the syllabus.
Also for your reference, I am mentioning down the JEE-Main 2022 syllabus :-

Good Luck!!
which chapter of physical chemistry is used to study Inorganic chemistry for IIT JEE?????
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing great...!!
For physical chemistry I will suggest to you some basic concepts that must be very much clear to a student these are the foundation concepts of all the chapters :
1) Mole Concept.
2) Equivalent concept
3) Integration, differentiation
4) Unit conversion.
for inorganic chemistry :
1) Periodic properties.
2) Oxidation / reduction concept.
3) Different types of inorganic reactions.
4) Chemical Bonding.
I hope this information helps you!
All the best!
can we do inorganic chemistry before studying atomic structure
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing great. So, with regard to your question, YES, you can do inorganic chemistry even without studying the atomic structure. But however, for organic chemistry, its is mandatory for you to study the atomic structure otherwise, you won't be able to understand anything from the concept.
Hope it helps you,
Thank you.
is ncert enough for inorganic chemistry for jee advanced?
Hey student,
Inorganic chemistry remains as one of the most easiest part of the jee adv examination. Generally they ask questions from the common ioc topics. Yes, they can blend inorganic with physical/organic to complicate the question. NCERT is enough for 90% of the inorganic questions. But for the rest of the 10% you need not to use other reference books; instead you must have the capability of finding the answer through the application of multiple concepts. Cover the important chapters line by line and try to understand it. First go through the proper syllabus of the jee adv, then choose a chapter one by one and finish it.
All the best student,
Hope this helps you.
I will be appearing for jee mains 2022 1st attempt in March ....how to go about revising whole of MPC and dos and donts before the exam ?? for inorganic chemistry is NCERT reliable ?
Hello,
There is still 2 months for the JEE Mains- Examination in March. You must utilise this time in best possible way to score a decent marks in the JEE Examination.
In the remaining time if you haven't completed your syllabus then try to complete it in the minimum possible time. And start giving mock tests.
---- Give as many mock tests as possible. They will help you to understand your mistakes and will give you a correct idea of the level of your preparation.
----- Solve MCQs of JEE Mains Examination standard for PCM. You will learn many new concepts and also shortcut ways to solve the question.
---- NCERT Chemistry is a solid book for inorganic portion in JEE Examination. Learn each and every information mentioned in the book right from the exceptions to every reaction.
Inorganic chemistry is a vast subject so try to stick with the relevant data only.
