The application form of IIIT Hyderabad B.Tech admission will be released separately for SPEC and JEE Main mode soon. For UGEE/SPEC channel, an entrance examination will be conducted on June 2. For other channels, IIIT Hyderabad B.Tech admission 2021 will be done on the basis of merit. Yes, there are entrance exams for admission into B.Tech courses at International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (Also known as: IIIT HYDERABAD). The exams are JEE Main and UGEE. JEE Main is for normal B.Tech and UGEE is for  research-based dual-degree programmes.

BITSAT : Birla Institute of Technology conducts an entrance exam exclusively. The university conducts the examination for  all three of it's campuses i.e  BITS Pilani, BITS Goa and BITS Hyderabad. The Exam is divided in four parts : Physics ,Chemistry , Mathematics and English proficiency and logical reasoning .

Date of Exam: 24th-30th June (Tentative)

MET : MET is for Manipal Academy for higher education. It is for admission to 16 engineering courses. It consists of questions from Physics Chemistry Mathematics , English and general Aptitude. Last Day of Application:15th March 2021

It depends totally on you,

Dual Degree is better for students who want to pursue PHD, there's a better chance of getting selected in PHD for dual degree students in abroad also, and you have to spend 1 less year, but the problem is MS is pretty much useless in industrial perspective.

While BTech 4-year course is completely preferable for students who want job in industries, and you get almost same level of salary as dual program with minor variations.
