At IIIT, there are no category barriers. Whether you are an OBC or not, you should get the same cutoff marks as of a general candidate. There is no concept of different cutoffs for different categories. 

Selection is based on marks cut off and the marks cut off varies every year. Last year the cut off marks for CSE was 287 and for ECE was 270.

It is tough to get this with this rank. However, you may get IIIT's like Kota, Una, etc. But top-notch IIIT's like Hyderabad is difficult perhaps impossible.

Well first of all you need to be sure that unless you study you won't get such a good college with computer science and engineering therefore if you are interested in Such College first of all you need to get rid from distractions but it does not mean that you can not there are many students are weak in class 11th due to lack of studies but after they get focused and beat other classmates therefore if you want to go to such a premier Institute then make a proper time table and avoid any destractions.

IIIT Hyderabad is conducting admissions to B.Tech programmes through channels like JEE Main 2018, Undergraduate Engineering Entrance Examination - UGEE– CSD/ ECD/ CND/ CLD/ NK/ NTSE or KVPY, Olympiad, Direct Admissions for Students Abroad (DASA) and Special Channel of Admission (SPEC).

The application form for JEE Main qualified candidates is now open till May 31, 2018.

IIIT HYDERABAD is not an government institution. So, it does not offer admission in it through JOSAA Counselling.

There is an exam for which must be cleared for getting a chance to get admission in IIIT H. It is UGEE. You need to apply for it and write the examination. You need to clear that exam and even after that there is an interview round for all the students who have cleared it.

Even through JEE MAINS we can seek for admission in it. But. you must get around 99.8 percentile to get eligible for the interview round. So, you can not get into it through JEE MAIN.

Please apply for UGEE and clear it if you want to go to IIIT H.
