 The  placement scenario isn't very impressive. The average pay-scale placed from college is 3 LPA.

But the college placement cell is on top of World because atleast some students were palced in big IT hubs like Infosys, imb, etc.

And The highest package may go 8 lakhs if you consider yourself an excellent student.

It will be difficult to point out the exact cut off but according to the information available regarding the previous year cut off we can know a range in which the cut off will be. The cut off for each year varies according to the number of candidates, difficulty level, category . Here I have listed out the cut off for SC category corresponding to each year:

IIIT Pune offers 4-year B.Tech. programs in 2 disciplines with an intake of 60 students in each specialization per year. Government College of Engineering, Pune (COEP) acts as the mentor institute for IIITP.

• Admissions are carried out by the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) by Joint Seat Allocation Authority ( JoSAA ) set up under the Ministry of Human Resources Development.
• Candidates who have successfully cleared the JEE Main are eligible to register for seat allocation.
• Candidates should have secured at least 75% marks in their respective 10+2 exams in order to apply for JEE Main.

• Indian Institute of Information Technology(IIIT) which are main central government funded having national importance are IIIT allahabad, IIIT kancheepuram, IIIT jabalpur & IIIT gwalior.All 4 of them take students through jossa counselling that is through your jee mains rank.
• Indian Institute of Information Technology(IIIT) which are PPP(private & public funded) they are state government with any private company partnership.I don’t know exact number but there approx 13–14 these type of IIIT which admit student through jossa counselling( jee mains rank).
• Now last type of IIIT is private its first I is not Indian its International(not necessary).IIIT Hyderabad, IIIT bhubaneswar, IIIT delhi are private they take students through there counselling not through jossa. So as they conduct there private counselling so some like IIIT hyderabad,IIIT bhubaneswar consider jee mains score but IIIT delhi consider jee mains rank and admit through JAC counselling.

hostel lumpsum fees for previous year was around 45000 including hostel fee 24000 per year ,mess of 16000per sem and refundable one time security of 5000 

i am not sure if obc category is included in the list of giving 100% tution fee waiver .

But sc,st and PH students surely get that benefit! 

You can consider it an above average college as per the rating and reviews. So it would suggest you to  consider it after the better option if you have.
