where is it mentioned in isro website thst msc biotechnology students can get into it .
can we join isro studying in other institute other than iist?
Hello,
There are several ways to join ISRO as a scientist besides JEE Mains or Advanced. The fact is that ISRO directly hires students from IITs and IISC, making it simpler for you to get into ISRO if you attend one of these institutions. You would still be qualified for a position with ISRO if you studied engineering at any other reputable institution. You will need to study hard and gain the necessary information to be as productive as an IITian. To join ISRO as an engineering graduate, you must pass the admission test held by ISRO. ICRB (centralised Recruitment Board) conducts the test, and the GATE exam is also used for recruitment.
If you visit their official website, you may get a better sense of the eligibility standards and other specifications. If you didn't pass the JEE examinations, it's no issue; just get an engineering degree from a reputable university and start preparing for these entrance tests concurrently.
Good Luck!!
Can I become an astronaut in ISRO without giving JEE?
Hi,
Yes, you can become a astronaut without giving JEE. You can persue some degree related to space field like btech or be in aerospace or aeronautics etc. But let me inform you that there is no particular exam conducted by ISRO to become a astronaut. In today's time ISRO chooses his astronaut from INDIAN AIR FORCE ( flying branch ). Recently ISRO is working on gaganyaan mission for which ISRO is selecting INDIAN AIR FORCE's pilots to train them as astronaut. Even INDIA 's first astronaut Rakesh Sharma was also serving in IAF when he was selected as an astronaut. So, maybe you should try for IAF as it is the only way to become a astronaut in ISRO in recent time.
Is aerospace engineering mandatory to join ISRO? And what if I dont get into IISC, IIT or NIT? Will I be able to ever get into ISRO?
Hello Aspirant,
Aerospace Engineering is not mandatory to join ISRO. If you want to do engineering after 12th and after want to join ISRO then you can pursue B.Tech/ B.E. any of the following specialization-
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Aerospace Engineering
- Computer Science Engineering
- Radio Engineering and other related courses.
If you don't get into IISC, IIT or NIT, after completing your B.Tech/B.E from any Institution/college you can take the test that is conducted by ISRO. This test includes a written exam and a personal interview.
You can also join ISRO after your Post Graduation. If you don't want to do B.Tech/B.E. then you can pursue Bachelor's and Masters in Physics. After that also you will able to join ISRO.
Hope this information will help you.
sir I am a bipc student How can i join Isro after 12th
Does ISRO accept IIEST engineers
ISRO accepts an Engineer who have graduated with BTech/MTech with at least 65% or 6.0 CGPA score.
The degree offering institute must be recognized by the UGC/Government of India. So yeah! If you go for the course of Engineering in IIEST then you are eligible for the ISRO jobs. You will get the job is entirely dependent on your intellectual capability and skill. ISRO don't provides any special preferences to the student of IIT's/NIT's/IIEST etc, but most of the candidates from this institute gets the job in ISRO because, they are good in there subject. So if you can build up your skill, then without any doubt, you can go for the job profiles offered by ISRO.

After entering ISRO is there any specific qualities / things one must do to get into NASA, like the fee ,extra courses and etc..
Hi Aspirant!
NASA is a US Governmental Agency.
You can check out different opportunities available in NASA. No doubt, first one you think about is astronaut but there are other opportunities as well such researchers, engineers, geologists, microbiologists, physicists , medical doctors, nurses, and mental health care professionals, Computer programmers and IT specialists etc.
But as you asking about what to do after entering into ISRO. So, first you must choose the opportunity for which you have joined ISRO. For example, you have joined ISRO as a researcher. Then you can look out for the opportunity/vacancy available in NASA for same. Then you can apply for that easily by checking out the eligibility criteria for same on the official website of NASA.
Thankyou!
For astronomical study(Better in ISRO)(ofcourse in future),which path is best after giving hs ( science stream)and other state level exam(WBJEE,JEEMAIN)?
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing well..!!!
By composing JEE Mains/Advanced or WBJEE Exams itself you can't straightforwardly become Astronomer. First you need to finish your 10+2 tests under science stream with Mathematics and Physics subjects obligatory. After that you need to give tests to participate in college class in Astronomy . You would require a degree in space science or astronomy . For passage, you for the most part need 4-5 Highers including Maths, Physics and typically another science subject. You then need to do expert postgraduate review, generally a PhD, to get a post as an expert exploration astronomer(in ISRO).
Hope this information helps you!!
All the best!!
