If you are appearing for your first semester exam that means you are having back logs in your first semester paper.
In order to appear for the exam you need to have cleared all your back logs otherwise even if you sit for the exam and clear it you won't get the admission in the respective course.

Jamia Milia Islamia offers MA in Political Science and the eligibility criteria is that a candidate must have passed B.A.(Hons.) in Political Science or B.A. with Political Science with minimum 50% aggregate marks or must have passed B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. or B.A./B.Sc./B.Com.(Hons.) with minimum 55% aggregate marks from a recognized board. Considering the given criteria and your education qualification you are not eligible to pursue MA Political Science in JMI.

The JMI entrance exam is conducted annually for different courses offered at Jamia Millia Islamia.
- For the entrance exam, candidates are asked questions on Quantitative Aptitude, Reading Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, etc.
- You need to books and newspapers everyday learn from different vocabulary apps. Try to read general knowledge things from newspapers and TV shows.
- The exam is in written mode. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes. It is being conducted in English, Hindi and Urdu languages.

See reading all the materials and stuff is quite costly as well as time taking. Now depending on the time you have, you have to choose wisely. You know your subjects, if you think that you can get the syllabus done and can provide the answer asked in the exam by reading one book then its absolutely fine. But in general no book is perfect. So every book has its own advantage and disadvantages. Thus to minimize all this disadvantages use of multiple books is appreciated. Now if you can get the books from library or PDF versions or any way out, you can look at them and choose the material which will be based for you. Studying material thoroughly is important.
