Yes, IIT Jammu have its own 400 acres lush green Jagti campus, about 20 km away from Jammu airport and Jammu Tawi Railway Station, which is spread over 25 acres currently with a beautiful landscape closer to Trikuta hills.
What is the fees of IIT Jammu?
The fee of IIT Jammu is different for different category of candidates and it also differs based on the parental income slab. Students with parental annual income above Rs. 5 lakh will be charged Rs. 1,00,000 (tution fee) and Rs. 24,225 (semester fee). Students with parental annual income between Rs. 1 lakh to 5 lakhs are charged Rs. 33,333 as tution fee and Rs. 24,225 (semester fee). Students with parental annual income below Rs. 1 lakh or SC/ST/PH category candidates will be charged only semester fee Rs. 24,225, there is exemption of tution fee payment for these category students. However, each category candidate will have to pay one time security fee of Rs. 10,000, one time admission fee of Rs. 5,600, and annual fee in odd semester Rs. 3100.
