The fees for Postgraduation in Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research(JIPMER) is quite affordable. The total fee is around 15,960 INR. Of it,3,000 INR needs to be given at the time of admission.Academic Fee is 2,200 INR.Learning Resource Fee is 9,000 INR,Corpus Fund on Academic Fee is 110 INR.Student Information Fetails is 1,500 INR.Identity card Charges is 150 INR.

If you have been invited for the first round of counselling and have not attended it, then you will not be allowed to participate in the second and third round of counselling except for the open round.

Last year closing rank of JIPMER Puducherry campus counseling was 156 for UR candidates and closing rank of JIPMER Karaikal campus was 978 for UR candidates. With this much rank, you may not get a seat on any of the campuses of JIPMER.

Usually the payment is sometimes gone to the college but the website fails to display it. So I would advise you call the college office and ask them directly if they have received the payment or if possible just go and visit the institute. If they have not received then try to pay again. Then you might get your admit card.

As per the previous year's ranks admitted, the closing rank for Puducherry campus was 53 (SC rank) and for kariakal campus it was 318 (sc rank). So considering this you may get a chance in kariakal campus. But it's not pretty sure as this year the cut offs are higher. So you must wait for the counsellings, both round 1 and 2

Got 244th rank in jipmer July session 2019.Which seats may I get?
According to the notice issued on the official website of JIPMER2019, the UR students holding ranks between 1-750,OBC student between 1-370,SC student between 1-200 and ST student between 1-90, are shortlisted for the 1st counselling and for UR only 74 seats, OBC 37 seats,SC 20 seats ,ST 9 seats all total 190 seats are here.
So, as per the information, I think it would be not easy for you with your rank but I would suggest you to give it a chance.

First of all, Congratulations on your attempt in JIMPER. Now coming to your query there are in total 15 seats reserved for SC in JIMPER counseling for medicine. Based on 2018 SC cutoffs you have pretty good chances to get medical seat. 2018 cutoff for SC candidates is as follows
Cutoff AIR rank for SC (2018) Category rank
Round 1 - 2793 160
Round 2 - 3808 260
Round 3 - 4704 360
So based on these cutoff most probaly you can get a seat but remember cutoff changes every year based on various factors like number of students attempted, etc so we can't be 100% sure still you have good chances to get selected.
