Will AIIMS and JIPMER conduct their own UG entrance exams in the year 2020?
in relief to medical students waiting to pursue PG courses, the union health ministry has proposed to do away with NEET pg and intead the final mbbs exam would be enough for admission to MD and MS programmes. So, AIIMS and JIPMER will conduct the UG exam but pg exam is still a point of question.
Will NEET replace AIIMS entrance exam?
Hi,
Aiims and neet can't be merged either for ug Or for pg courses.
And in case of aiims and jipmer they can be merged in upcoming years because there are only two colleges of jipmer and they would like to merge with aiims. As a profit.
For any other information you can ask us.
Im post dgo candidate shall apply for md og
Hi Kousi,
As you had done post doctorate diploma in gynocology and obstetrics you are not eligible for the jipmer pg entrance exams. Because for appearing in jipmer pg entrance exams a candidate must hold a mbbs degree or any equivalent degree from a recognised university under mci approvals.
So,as you are having a diploma and not a degree, you are not eligible for the MD og courses though.
Good luck.
Is there any chapter weightage for each and every topic in Jipmer Pg or we have to prepare as a whole MBBS syllabus blindly?
Hello Deepa,
You must go through the complete syllabus thoroughly. Its not necessary that the chapters have same weightage every same year. It consist of questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Language & Comprehension, and Quants & Reasoning. Community Medicine, Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Surgery, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Dermatology, Anesthesiology, Psychiatry, Radio Diagnosis, Radio Therapy, Emergency Medicine, Orthopedics, Nuclear Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Blood Transfusion Medicine which comes under clinical science carries 150 questions. Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology and Forensic Medicine and Toxicology which comes under basic clinical science carries 100 questions.

How can I frame a daily preparation schedule for cracking Jipmer PG ,2024? Iam a 1st year student.
Hello Deepa, You need to do a continuous study through every day till the last day of examinations. Learn from good books like TARGET JIPMER, TARGET JIPMER SUPPLEMENT, and other good books. Try to make some time every day for the revisions of old topics. Never study any new topic at the end because it can cause stress and cause some depression of you don't get it.

How many marks required in neet for bams admission
Hi Anurudhha,
Well that may vary as per different states. Every state has it's own cut off declared for Ayush courses. According cut offs is released.
Government colleges usually have high cut off and demand than the private ones.
The cut off can be around 480+ for general category students. 450+ for OBC category students. 350+ for SC ST students.
These are just possible cut offs and the actual can be expected around this.
I hope this information helps.
All the best.
Regarding non eligibility for jipmer pg- what about people who are already doing an MD through all india quota(NEET), are they eligible?
Hello,
As per your query, i would say that whatever changes are made those will be for students who take new admission not for those who already are persuing the course. If such changes are made for already persuing students, they will be notified by the college as well as will get notifications and information on its official site.
