I have got 76.8 percentile in Jee Mains 2022, Am I qualified to write Jee Advanced 2022..
Hi
Assuming you from general category
It's quite difficult to predict JEE mains qualifying cutoff to be eligible for JEE advanced examination as it keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-
******number of students that appeared in the jee main exam,
******kind of marks obtained by them ,
******toughness level of the jee main examination for different shift etc.
But yes,
When we go through previous year trend then
Minimum percentile in jee main 2021 to qualify it to be eligible for jee advanced is given below :-
--------) general :-87.8992241 percentile
--------) EWS:- 66.2214845 percentile
--------) OBC-NCL :- 68.0234447 percentile
--------) SC :- 46.8825338 percentile
--------) ST:- 34.6728999 percentile
--------) PWD :- 0.0096375 percentile
You can check the same at our page the link is provided below

I belong to OBC category. How much percentage of marks i should score in JEE Advanced 2022 to secure AIR under 50 in OBC category?
Dear Aspirant,
The percentage of marks that you'll need keeps varying every year based on the difficulty level of the paper and the preparation level of the students around you. But looking at the previous year trends we can say that you'll need atleast 70 - 75 percentage to get in top 50 of your category rank. Again, this is a prediction and may vary if the difficulty of the paper changes.
Hope this helps.
hello,this is mrunal,my question is...i got 94 percentile in jee mains 2021..i qualified jee advanced 2021 also but i didnt get admission in any IITs...bcoz of some family prblm i was unable to give jee mains 2022, so can i apply for jee advanced 2022 on the basis of jee mains 2021 result?pls reply
Hello,
I can understand your problems . Everyone has their own difficult times and we just can't blame anyone for it. It is the just the time which is responsible for these things.
So, let me tell you that you cannot directly apply for jee advanced 2022 without qualifying jee mains 2022 because it's just against the rule. You jee mains 2021 attempt or score is of no use in this year.
I would suggest you if you have given your 12th in the year 2021 then you are eligible for one more attempt in jee mains which is in the year 2023. But in that year you won't be eligible for jee advanced as you are allowed to give only two times consecutively.
So score well in jee mains next year and get into a good NIT.
Tell me i am eligible for jee advanced 2022 with 87 percentile with SC category
Hey!
Congratulations on the score. Yes, there is a very good chance you are eligible for JEE Advanced as the cutoffs for SC category has been around 48-58 percentile in previous years and there are negligible chances for the increase in cutoffs.
Can i eligible for jee advanced 2022 with my 85.1 percentile. I am from EWS category
Hello,
If you have EWS, you are qualified to jee advanced with 85.1 percentile.
You can take the JEE Advanced Exam, but your results won't be good enough to get you into a top branch or decent nit.
Don't relax after mains and prepare well for advanced; most students who do this end up getting poor grades there. Keep up the hardwork till you pass advanced.
Thank You
my NTA total score is 62.5 .Im from ST category.Am i qualified for jee advanced 2022???
Hello Aspirant,
On such percentile, being a ST candidate you have good chances to qualify for JEE-Advance 2022 but still the cutoffs for this year have not released yet officially.
As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so for now you can get an idea from JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-offs that are enlisted below :-
==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile
==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 68.0234447-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 46.8825338-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 34.6728999 87.8474721 Percentile
==>> PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359 Percentile
Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2022 but previous year's cut-off.

I passed my 12th class in 2021,gave JEE mains but didnt get qualified for JEE advanced 2021 then i took drop for next year but didnt get qualified for JEE advanced 2022 either so,will I be able to sit in JEE advanced 2023 if i get qualified in JEE mains 2023 since its going to be my first time
Hi,
Sorry for the confusion earlier.
A candidate can attempt JEE Advanced maximum two times in two consecutive years after passing Class 12th. Since you already have exhausted both the chances, so you cannot.

I have completed my JEE 2022 syllabus recently and in first mock test I score 180 marks. But can I crack JEE advanced 2022 because I never solve advance problems.i only solve mains problem. can it be possible to crack JEE advanced if I start now????? I have scored 180 marks in jee mains mock test
Hello,
If you have prepared well for JEE mains, then you should start preparing for advance. There are chances of passing the advanced level. You have to answer very less correct answers to qualify the only disadvantage is that your rank comes out to be loe. But there are many students who have last moment preparation and cleared jee advance with flying colors. So don't lose hope just work harder wishing you all the sucess.
Thank You!
