I uploaded an invalid category certificate in jee advanced registration so when I upload my category certificate for seat allocation
Hello!
On 25th September it was announced on the official website of JEE advanced that owing to pandemic and delay in issuing the certificicate by government authorities, students can upload the required documents after seat allocation process. Which means, students are not asked to submit any document during joSSA. However, once seat is allocated, a portal will be opened for all to submit their docuements during reporting process.
how to upload obc certificate in jee advanced registration if first we uploaded declaration form..?
Hello Aspirant,
Don't worry because now you cannot upload certificate on the place of your declaration of category certificate because you can upload it only once. There is nothing to be worry about because if you will be alloted a seat through JOSAA counselling then you have to show your caste certificate which should be issued after 01-04-2020 in the online verification of documents through alloted Institute.

Dear aspirant ,
According to your query and taking into consideration that you are from obc NCL category if you are unable to upload the certificate this year make sure that you are making the certificate after 1st April next year as this before this date that certificate is invalid.
I have qualified for jee advanced. When i typed my application no. and password in jee advanced registration portal it is showing invalid application no. or invalid password. So i changed my jee mains password but still it is showing the same error. Please suggest some solution.

I didnt apply my ews certificate in jee mains jan/sep now I am qualified for advanced so can I upload it in jee advanced registration... will it be valid?
Hey!
The condition is, if you have mentioned your category as EWS in application form filling then only you can use its certificate at the time of JOSAA counselling. And because you didnt apply for the same at the time of filling application form, so now you can't.
Do we have to submit the ews certificate at time of JEE ADVANCED registration or at the time of counselling or admission
Hi aspirant,
You need to submit EWS certificate at the time of JEE Advanced registration and it will be verified by the authorities at the time of document verification during counselling. You need to submit the following document at the time of JEE Advanced registration.
- Class X certificate or Birth Certificate
- Class XII (or equivalent exam) Certificate
- Category Certificate ( only for Only for SC /ST /OBC-NCL/EWS candidates
- PwD Certificate( only for PwD candidates)
- OCI Card/PIO Card, if applicable
- DS Certificate, if applicable
Hope you understand.
Sir.... we registered OBC ncl in 1st&2nd mains of JEE 2020. but we did not produced OBC ncl.can we change our as general at the time of JEE Advanced registration? If it not possible,What is solution for that? Please give answer!
Hello ,
No you can't change cateogry in JEE Advance direcly but by declaring that you don't belong to OBC-NCL you will be considered as General category candidate and there is another way while filling for JEE Advance you can give declaration in lieu whose format will be available at JEE Advance website in which you have to declare you don't have OBC-NCL certificate now but you will upload it before deadline that is given on JEE Advance website.
So, you can give declaration and try to get OBC-NCL certificate with stamp and signature of SDO from your district before the deadline given at JEE Advance website.
Also you can change cateogry to general by declaring that you don't belong to OBC-NCL but not directly.
Hope this will help you.
