Hello student,
For the jee advanced examination - you need to have both the basic knowledge as well as the detailed information about the questions so its best if you stick to both of them.
Hope it helps.. if you have any other doubts, feel free to post it here..
Why We need to prepare NDA and JEE ADVANCED Syllabus Seperate Whereas the Syllabus OF both the Exam is only from class 11th 10th 9th 12th. So why we dont focus on current Syllabus?
Hi
You need to prepare separately for JEE ADVANCED and NDA because,
-------------------) Both has different examination pattern.
-------------------) Syllabus is different:- Jee advanced syllabus is 11th and 12th ncert syllabus of Physics, chemistry and maths while in NDA you also have geography history etc as a part of GAT paper.
-------------------) In both NDA & JEE advanced there's maths but difficulty level of JEE ADVANCED maths is way more than that of NDA.
NDA syllabus:- https://competition.careers360.com/articles/nda-syllabus/amp
JEE ADVANCED SYLLABUS:- https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-advanced-syllabus/amp
If you prepare for jee advanced then you don't need to separately prepare maths, physics, chemistry for NDA while you need to prepare other subjects like geography, English etc for NDA separately.
For your reference,
EXAMINATION PATTERN of both NDA & JEE ADVANCED is given below:-

is pair of straight lines(not straight lines)part of jee advanced syllabus 2021?
As you asked pair of straight lines is included in jee advanced 2021 or not.
I think yes. Because pair of straight lines is coming under lines that's why I think pair of lines is also included.
But as for your reference u can also check jee advanced syllabus by this-

I hope this helps.
Is optical aberration of lenses and mirrors there in jee advanced syllabus or has it ever been asked before?
Hi there!
To study Optics it is advisable, you brush up your knowledge in Geometry (Parallel lines, Angles, Properties of triangles, Similar triangles, Circles etc.) and Trigonometry what you have studied in Class 10. There will be substantial applications of these while you study Optics.
Practice ray diagrams for Plane mirrors, Spherical mirrors and lenses. Brush up Mirror and Lens formulas which you studied in class 10.
Study theory portion from HC Verma. It has been found that there is a good coverage of Ray Optics in DC Pandey Optics book with lots of good examples. Learn these in addition.
Solve problems from your coaching materials, HCV and DCP books.
After completing these, you study Simple Harmonic Motion (if not studied already). It will be required when you start studying Wave Optics.
Happy learning.
