I have ranked 2lac 68 thousand Gmr ( OBC - 91k) in jee main 2021. can i get Nit sikkim for Biotechnology?
Hi
Your profile suggests that your home state is West Bengal.
Nit sikkim doesn't offer btech biotechnology .
It's quite difficult to predict because cutoff keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-
******number of students that appeared in the jee main exam,
****** number of available seats,
****** performance of different students in the examination,
****** the category you belong etc.
But yes,
When we go through previous year trend then
>>>>> With 91k obc rank
It is quite difficult to make prediction but yes
You have low chance in nit sikkim for any branch.
For example,
In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020, under state closing rank was 13352 obc rank in NIT sikkim and it was for Civil engineering.
You can check the same at
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
You have very low chances in any nit, closing rank even for lower nits is around 15k - 16k obc rank.
But yes,
Some of the government engineering colleges in which you hold a chance on the basis of past year closing rank are listed below along with the link for their previous year cutoff :-
------) IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar:- https://www.careers360.com/university/ik-gujral-punjab-technical-university-jalandhar/cut-off
-------) Jiwaji University, Gwalior:- https://www.careers360.com/university/jiwaji-university-gwalior/cut-off
-------) Dr APJ Abdul Kalam UIT Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Jhabua :-
https://www.careers360.com/colleges/dr-apj-abdul-kalam-uit-rajiv-gandhi-proudyogiki-vishwavidyalaya-jhabua/cut-off
This prediction is on the past year data basis but cut closing rank for colleges changes every year depending upon factors like number of candidates that write jee main examination, difficulty level of the question paper for different shifts of jee main etc so
To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to, your home state, your gender etc, the link for jee main college predictor is provided below

My best NTA Score for JEE Main 2021 is 91.942. pls tell me if there are any chances to get admission in good NIT.
Hlo kritika
First of all i would like to congratulate you since with 91.942 percentile you might be eligible for jee advance(taking in account the previous year cutt-off) and your expected rank will be somewhere around 90,000 . So with this rank the chances of your admission in some NIT are quite less under general category , but if you have some category certificate then you might get a chance to get admission in some NIT .
I hope this answer helps.....
All the very best!
i am ews+pwd category i got 65% in jee main 2021 can i get seat in nit in waragal and andhra pradesh
Hi aspirant, since you got 65% in JEE and you belong to EWS-PWD category so after analysing it is possible that you can get into NIT, Andhrapradesh, but chances are that you cannot get your desired branch. You may get branches like Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering etc.

hello sir/mam , i scored 77 %ile in feb attempt of jee main 2021 and 70%ile in april attempt , i am a sc category student from bihar. is there any chances for getting any colleges through this score?
Hello,
You got one attempt in JEE Mains examination is 77 percentile and another attempt 70 percentile. So your number probably 41 to 50. And your general rank is in between 150000 to 200000. This is quite high rank. And due this rank you can't get any IITs or NITs. But may be you will get another engineering colleges. In this rank you can get any private engineering college. So for that reason you have to go for counselling. Also you can check your probability rank below

And which college you will get through your rank you can check below also

But you can fill out jossa rounds for colleges like NIT Jalandhar, NIT Agartala, NIT Meghalaya, NIT Mizoram, NIT Srinagar, NIT Silchar. you can try these colleges.

Hope this will help, All the best.!!
my crl rank 54650 in jee main 2021 which nit ,iit, iiest will i get through jossa councelling? abd i also get gen rank 3680 in wbjee exam? which councelling is best for me jossa Or wbjee? in time of form fill up I dont submit my ews certificate . now in councelling, can i submit my ews certificate?
Hi
This is difficult to make prediction as cutoff depends upon various factors like :-
-----------) number of students/ candidates that appeared in the jee main exam,
-----------) number of available seats,
-----------) performance of different students in the examination,
-----------) the branch you want,
-----------) the category you belong etc.
Anyway,
When we go through previous year trend then
With 54650 rank,
In josaa counselling, your chances in NITs, IIITs, or even IIEST is a bit low. When we go through past year trend then even for lower nits your rank should have been around 50k. IITs provide admission through jee advanced.
But yes,
You have chances in GFTIs, as per round 6th , 2020 in josaa counselling , some if which are listed below:-
-
School of Engineering, Tezpur University, Napaam, Tezpur:- ECE :-58671
-
Mizoram University, Aizawl:- electrical engineering:-62907
-
National Institute of Foundry & Forge Technology, Hatia, Ranchi:- Metallurgy and Materials Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology):- 62323
And more
You can check the closing ranks at official website of josaa by going through the link given below
