Your percentile is extremely low, and you are not eligible for admission to any NITs. applicants from general categories must score at least 90% to be admitted to NITS, whereas applicants from reserved categories, such as Scheduled Caste (SC), must score at least 80% to be admitted to NITs.

According to NTA guidelines, candidates can take the JEE Mains for three consecutive years after completing their 12th grade. Hello Aspirant,
See jee mains and advanced is not a cakewalk. It requires couple of years for its preparation and people with dedication and perseverance are only the ones who are able to crack it. You need to be very patient during your preparation.
Completing only 40% of the syllabus won't fetch you much marks because even in that 40% some of the questions will be there which you can't crack.
