kvpy and jee main syllabus is same
Dear Aspirant,
KVPY Exam is a competitive exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Science. Students who are qualified are offered admission as well a fellowship at institutes such as IISc and IISER. Whereas JEE Mains is also a competitive exam conducted by the NTA, and students can avail admissions to institutes NITs, IIITs and various other engineering colleges across India based on the cutoff.
the syllabus for KVPY and JEE Mains is more or less the same. Both the examinations cover almost the similar topics. KVPY Examination is said to be the foundation of JEE Mains Examination.
However to compare the syllabuses of both the examinations, kindly visit the links provided below.

MHRD did announce that the syllabus of Jee Main 2021 will be reduced due to this pandemic it would be difficult to complete the entire syllabus. To complement this, CBSE has reduced the syllabus by 30% from class 9 to 12. And it is expected that this reduced syllabus by CBSE will be retained for Jee Main 2021. For the reduced syllabus you can check this link http://engineering.careers360.com/articles/will-jee-main-syllabus-be-reduced
