my expected neet score is 550 i belong from jharkhand will i get admission in government medical college
Hello Sanjeev,
Firstly congrats on the good score. The cutoff cannot be predicted for sure because it depends on various factors like previous year trends, the number of seats available this year in every state, the number of students applying for the seat, the difficulty level of the exam , the highest marks scored etc. Based on your score your predicted rank is 24150 - 28300.Based on previous year cutoffs , if you belong to general category , then you should have 560+ minimum for a good govt. college,so with 550 it may be a little difficult however when you attend the counselling based on the number of seats you may get, hence can't say for sure. But if you belong to reserved category then sure you will get a govt.medical seat. You will also have the advantage of home state quota, so not worry. Visit the below link to know the previous year cutoffs in Jharkhand state:

To be honest, with this score, it is difficult for a seat in MBBS in Government Medical Colleges. You might get a Deemed University at All India Level but in Jharkhand it is difficult. You will need 570 and more for a seat in MBBS even if you belong to OBC Category. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. I got 75 percentile in jee mains which college I got for mechanical engineering. I am from Jharkhand And BC-1 Category belong.
Hello Zehen,
First of all with 75 percentile(considering your reservation) you may not be able to get a NIT but you can take a chance by waiting for the special round. However, that is uncertain. I will recommend you to try for SGFTIs(State Government Funded Technical Institute) by participating in counselling process organised by the state.
Well, I can suggest you to use a college predictor to help you find an appropriate college

Hope you find a very good college!
I got 75 percentile in jee mains which college I got for mechanical engineering. I am from Jharkhand And BC-1 Category belong
Hi Aspirants,
Despite having OBC reservation benefits, with 75 percentile in JEE Mains, you would not be able to get any NITs or IIITs for mechanical Engineering.
Other colleges, which you can get on this score, will not be decent enough to pursue mechanical engineering.
Anyway, I will suggest you visit this link for college prediction - https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=jee-main-cp-lp&ici=nav-header_engg

Hi,
First of all Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) is conducted for the admissions of undergraduate programmes in IITs,NITs,IIITs and other Central Technological Institutes by JoSAA. The exam is conducted in two parts- JEE main and Advanced. The students who qualifies both main and advanced are selected to IITs and CTUs such as IIScs,IISERs and so on. Of you qualify JEE main then you are eligible for applying to NITs and some government colleges like :
1.Delhi technological university,Delhi
2.Institute of Chemical Technology,Mumbai
3.IIIT,Allahabad
4.Jamia Milia Islamia,Delhi
5. Guru Nanak Dev University,Punjab and so on
Some private institutions also accept JEE main score.
1.Lovely Professional University,Phagwara
2.M.A college of Engineering,Kerala
3.MIT,Pune
4.JECRC,Jaipur and so on
The cutoffs of the exams for each category will be published on the official website of JoSAA. If you qualify the exam with cutoff or more you can apply for admissions. I have domicile certificate of jharkhand but i did my 10th and 12th from delhi so will i be applicable for state quota or not in jharkhand for NEET 2020..??
Hi,
Yes you are eligible for the state quota of Jharkhand provided that you have the valid legal documents of domicile from Jharkhand State. At the time of reporting to the center during admission process, you need to provide these documents along with other certificates as mentioned in the NEET guidelines.
Hope this will solve your query.
with 94 percentile or 120 marks in jee mains , what colleges can i expect to get admission into , for obc-ncl female student from Jharkhand ?
Hello,
Actually you scored very good marks in JEE mains. According to your question you can expect high reputation colleges and Unversities with your marks. you can expect nit ranchi, nit bhopal etc.
thank you.
i am from jharkhand and i am scoreing 530 in neet 2020 but i know the fact that my states mbbs seat cuttoff will very high so have i a chance to get a seat through all india quota for goverment college or semi goverment college in another state in 530 marks
Dear student,
Assuming you are from general category, 530 marks will not be sufficient enough for a guranteed seat in Gov. college.
As, this year cutoff is going to be very high so it will be more challenging, now for jharkand college wise cutoff please follow the link https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-jharkhand
You don't have any chance in gov. medical college but have chance for gov. dental college Rajendra institute, Ranchi.
And in 15% AIQ seats also the cutoff is more than 570 minimum. For other state semi gov seats you are not eligible, you have to possess that state's domicile to avail.
But you can also check this link for other colleges you have chances in https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
