I have applied for ews certificate for neet in Dec 2023, I will receive it in Feb or March 2024, is it valid for neet 2024 or i have to apply for new one after 1April 2024. Im from j&k
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing great.
As per your question, Mostly the EWS certificate is valid for one year. Irrespective of the date which you have applied, the certificate is valid for one year. So after getting the certificate look at the year and the month it is given, basing upon that you will know the validity. Hence, wait until you get the certificate. If its not valid, then you can apply for the new one.
Hope this helps!

I am preparing for NEET 2023 what should be my best college preference as a j&k domicile holder residing in j&k?
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing well,
College preference should always be according to your marks and location. If you are preparing for next year's exam then I would advice you to aim for government colleges only. The cost for the college will be really low as compared to private colleges. There are many government colleges in Jammu and Kashmir that offers MBBS. For getting a seat in government college through government quota candidates from general category require minimum 50th percentile to qualify (since you have not mentioned your category I am considering that you belong to general category). You NEET score has to be around 570-650+ for admission in top government college. I have mentioned few top colleges in Jammu and Kashmir where you should be aiming to get admission :
Government Medical College, Srinagar
Government Medical College, Jammu
Government Medical College, Doda
SKIMS, Srinagar
