- Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra
- Sai Nath University, Ranchi
- University College of Engineering and Technology(UCET), Hazaribag
- BIT, Sindri
BEST WISHES!
has jkbose 12th class syllabus really reduced to 30% or not??
Hello Aspirant,
The central board of secondary education has decided to reduce the syllabus by 30 percent due to the loss of academic instruction time. They have deleted various topics across streams in wake of the covid 19 pandemic and they delays caused by the same.
Being someone who just passed out from 12th grade in the year 2020 I believe a number of significant topics have been scrapped off ,which were relevant particularly in the case of political science .
I have scored 94 % in 12 JKBOSE in medical stream. I wanna seek admission In DU and Im from SC category. Do I have any chance of getting there in arts stream (Geography+Pol. sc.) ? plzz do tell
Hello there
Since you are from medical stream but want to pursue course in arts so you will face a deduction of every 2.5% per each subject. According to the eligibility criteria set by DU, your 'Best Four' marks determines your eligibility to get admission into any college.
For the calculation of your best four marks, you've to choose one language subject from list A and three elective subjects from list B which is set by the university itself. If there's a change in stream, you face a deduction of 2.5% per each subject.

As the session in jkbose is from october to october .So the students who gave their 12th board exam in october 2018 while results came in jan. 2019.Are they eligible for BITSAT 2020?
Though your results have been announced in January, because the Academic year closed in 2018, you will be considered 2018 passed Candidate. And so you will be eligible for BITSAT 2019 and not BITSAT 2020. According to the official website: https://www.bitsadmission.com/bitsat/2020/BITSAT-2020Brochure.pdf , it says that Candidates who have passed their 12th either in 2018 or before are not eligible for BITSAT 2020. You were eligible for BITSAT 2019. For BITSAT 2020, Candidates who will complete their 12th in 2020 or who have completed their 12th in 2019 are alone eligible. But because you have completed your 12th in 2018, unfortunately you are not eligible for BITSAT 2020.
A very good evening sir\mam. I had recently passed my 10+2 with 89.8% (jkbose) can i get the bvsc course seat through the pmsss. And is Neet required for the bvsc through pmsss?
PMSSS is a Prime Ministers Special Scholarship Scheme. This is not an entrance examination or an alternative for NEET. If you want to study B.V.Sc NEET is a mandatory entrance examination. PMSSS only gives Scholarship for pursuing Education. And NEET is a National Level Entrance examination for admission to MBBS, BDS, Ayush and Veterinary Courses across India. So for studying B.V.Sc, you should appear for NEET. And to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th.
my 12 score is 323 in jkbose what should i do
Dear Aspirants ,
First of all congrats for passing 12th in this marks.
After completion your 12th you can go through Undergraduate course like Btech .Barch ,Bsc,Bcom ,BA etc as per your interest .If you are interested in engineering then you can go through Btech ,BE and so on ,but you didnt mentioned that from which stream you passed from 12th because every course having certain criteria and you must follow so with out proper stream it will difficult to answer for the same .
I hope you will understand and we are waiting for your replay regarding stream of 12th class you passed out then only we will describe with course and details for your bright future .
Thanks

Ive got 95.8% in 12th PCM through JKBOSE. Can I get admission in DTU CSE via PMSSS even without clearing jee mains?
Hello
To be eligible for admission in DTU for btech , one should have obtained at least 60% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have passed English
And the admission in Btech in DTU is on the basis of rank / marks obtained by you in the JEE Mains examination
You ccan check the same at
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jac-delhi-eligibility-criteria
So , I am extremely sorry to tell you but you cannot get admission in DTU without qualifying JEE Mains even if you have 95 % in 12th
Thank you
