If i use slide option against the seat i got in 1st seat allotment of JOSAA.Then later on I dont get any upgraded seat, So will i loose the seat that i got at first round too??
Dear aspirant,
If you choose float or slide option after 1st round seat allotment then you will lose your seat which you have got in that round. But don't worry ,you will definitely get a seat in 2nd round(not necessarily the upgraded branch but same one which you have got in 1st round seat allotment).
My AIR is 189000(General{Male}) in JEE MAINS,I got EIE at NIT Agartala(Home State) in 1st round. So can i get ECE in same college in CSAB special rounds?
Hello debayansen.ds.ds,
Well, as per the previous year's trend and comparing it to current year's jossa stats:
there is very low chance of you getting ECE (in 2019 josaa last round closing rank was 167441and this year it is 113082 so a drop is seen and so will be in csab), previous year CSAB closing rank for ECE was 167441 and chances are for a drop in this year too!, so definitely there is very less chance for you...
Hope this helps, and feel free to ask any further query...
I got EIE at NIT Agartala in Jossa 1st round and froze the seat. So can i get CSE/ECE in same college in CSAB special round? And are there any risks of joining CSAB special round??
Dear aspirant,
According to your question and taking into consideration that you have got EIE in nit Agartala in round 1 and you froze the seat.
I would like to say that i dont think that you would get computer science at nit agartala as the home state cut off closes for 65k and the instrumentation is far behind and it's cut off is around 1.9L.
So if you are satisfied with your branch then just complete your admission formalities.
This year there is no risk to join csab as your seat has been retained as you have paid the partial admission fee of 40k.
what documents are required during jossa candidate registration? I am compartment candidate from cbse(12) and my compartment results will come after registration process so will i need to submit marksheet during registration or during admission after i get a seat in college? My overall result is pass
hello there
during josaa registration i don't think you need to upload any documents .you will get to know by yourself what are the things needed to be uploaded while registration . but you will need the documents at the time of counselling or admissions .there you have to presents your documents . here you can get what are the documents recquired

what will happen if i select float option? will my alloted seat be reserved or cancelled if i dont take admission? is it compulsory to take admission?
Hello,
Float means you have been allotted a seat and you've accepted the seat but you want a better programme than what you've been allotted.
Your present alloted seat will remain safe until you get another. In this case once you are allotted a seat in the further rounds, you'll lose the seat which was allotted previously.
if i could get cs and ece in nit meghalya, nit mizoram, nit manipur ,iiit surat and iiit vadodra. which will be a better option to choose....? i belongs to uttar pradesh.
First of all congratulations, if you could get computer science engineering and electronics communication engineering in NIT Mizoram, NIT Meghalaya, NIT Manipur, IIIT Surat and IIIT Vadodara.
Now if you are confused that among these Institutes which to take then according to me, you must go with IIIT Surat.
Because these nits are low and you will not get very much good study exposure.
But as coming to the iiits then between iiit varodaraand IIIT Surat , IIIT Surat is best between these two.
So if you can get any of the computer science engineering or electronics and communication engineering branch in IIIT Surat then definitely you must go for it and it will be the best option.
The placement record for IIIT Surat is also very good among these colleges that you have mentioned in your question.

how do I know whether i have successfully exited from the JOSAA counselling,i clicked the exit from counselling, tickmarked agreement & clicked submit exit counselling request after that window came saying close this window for security reasons. I havent got any message/mail even after 6hrs
Hello Aspirant,
When you will take an exit from the JOSAA counselling process then after logging in again it will display a pop-up showing that you took an exit from the JOSAA counselling and cannot proceed further.
So it is recommended to try login again to that window, to check whether you made an successful exit from the counselling process or not.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
we have to pay any fee during counseling are after counseling
Hello aspirant,
Hope you're doing well!
During counselling, you need to deposit a security deposit which is totally refundable. And for the course fee, you'll be depositing it after you've secured a seat in your dream college.
Round 1 cut off for MNNIT Allahabad ECE is 15212 for HS Open female only and MNIT Jaipur ECE is approximately 12000 something for OS Open Female only... My JEE Main Rank is 15589 and I am a female belonging to Uttar Pradesh... What are my chances to get either of the two in further rounds?
Hello,
In 2019 round 7 the cut off for admission to ECE was 14157 for open category(other state female) for MNIT, Jaipur and for MNNIT, Allahabad the cut off was 12716 for open category (home state female) for admission to ECE. It is very difficult to get seat considering the previous year cut off in round 7. But cut off may increase or decrease in further rounds depending on number of candidates qualified, difficulty of exam and number seats available etc.
