Jadavpur University conducts entrance exams for their BE and BA courses, but for BSc course, the admission is done on the basis of performance in your 10+2 level. For BSc Geological Sciences, the basic eligibility criteria states that the candidates should have passed their 10+2 level from any recognised board in Science stream with Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. A minimum aggregate of 75% marks should be scored in PCM, for the general category candidates. For OBC, SC/ST and PwD the minimum requirement is 67.5%, 56.25% and 40% respectively.

At present ,I am a student of class XII-CBSE(sub- P,C,M,CS,Eng & PE). I want to study BSc in Jadavpur University with Math, Stat and Computer. Could you pls tell me- (i) What are the criteria to get chance in JU? (ii) What % is required in Class XII Board Exam? (iii) Is there any entrance exam?
The eligibility criteria first of all to get into Jadhavpur University are as follows -
You need to pass your 10+2 from a recognized board and university. Your marks in Physics, Chemistry and Bio/Maths should be above 75%

The admission to Bsc courses is through Boards exam only. The cutoff for general category for Bsc Physics in JU last year was 380 marks. BSC Chemistry - 370 marks, BSC Geography 220 marks, BSC Geological Science - 270, BSC Maths - 371.
So you need to score around 10-15 marks above this cutoff score to be on the safer side.

please anyone send any pdf expected cutt off marks in wbjee exam.... in the college of 1-iem 2- heritage 3- ju 4- kgec... please
Hello Aspirant,
West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board release the cut-off for WBJEE every year after the declaration of results. It is not easy to predict the cut-off for any exam because cut-off depends upon various factors like
- Number of candidates appeared in exam.
- Availability of seats
- Difficulty level of paper
- And many more
Hence cut-off are bound to change every year by taking consideration of above factors.
However you can get a rough idea from previous years cut-offs for WBJEE, link for the same is given below -

I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
if I will find wbjee exam 40+and my rank will be <10000,, and i am sc category belongs... so i will find ju, iem, techno saltlake heritage.. which college Will I find???
If you will score around 40+ marks in WBJEE, you will never get admission in Jadhavpur University regardless of your category. But since you are from SC category you will easily get admission in IET,Techno India and Heritage and other government colleges.
Good Luck
