mechanical vs electronics instrumental engineering in kakatiya Institute of technology and science
Hello, hope you are doing well!
B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering is an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering course. Mechanical engineering is a discipline of engineering that applies the principles of physics and materials science for analysis, design, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
- As a mechanical engineer, you could become involved in design, manufacture, research, development, management, or marketing.
- Mechanical engineering played a vital part in the design, manufacture and installation of the Eye, something that was originally believed to be impossible. Now it is both an extremely popular tourist attraction and an inspiration to future engineers.
- They can work in transport, health, defence, manufacture, and any related field. A limited number of Mechanical Engineers worldwide provides Mechanical Engineers good earning opportunity.
- Graduates can go for their Masters’s degree program to become a lecturer in their respective interested subjects.
- Job types- Technician, Sales Engineer, Manager, Process Development Technologist; Assoc., Prof./Asst. Prof./Professor; Laboratory Technician, Design Engineer
B.E. Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering is an undergraduate Instrumentation Engineering course. The responsibilities of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineers will be with the design, construction and maintenance of instruments and entire instrumentation systems of any industrial undertaking.
- The course is beneficial to encourage continuous knowledge and skill development; to work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary development team and provides a sound foundation for people wishing to pursue a career in electrical engineering, communications, control systems, robotics or sensor systems, through a diverse range of theoretical skills and practical experience, presented in the context of real applications and design experience.
- The course enables the students to pursue a career in the measurement and control of complex industrial & electrical processes.
- Modules of this program train the student to plan, design, install, operate, control and maintain complex systems that produce materials.
- The course equips the students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world engineering problems and to manage complex engineering projects.
- Job types- Instrumentation Manager, Instrumentation Design Engineer, Plant Engineering Manager, Controls and Instrumentation Engineer, Electronics Engineer/Manager, Hardware/Electronics Engineer, Teacher/Lecturer.
I have given you detailed information about both the courses. After this it totally depends on your interest and career plans which stream of engineering you want to pursue. Choose totally depending on your interest. Because no matter how good a college placement facilities are, you won't enjoy your studies if you ain't interested in the branch you select, this will eventually make it difficult for you to get placed. Whereas if you select a branch you really are interested in, then you can easily get placed. All the best!
can I get seat in kits warangal in eee branch. my ts eamcet rank is 63254, I belong to sc category and home state telangana
Hey aspirant,
It is difficult for you to get a seat in KIIT Warangal for Electronics and Electrical Engineering branch, even in SC category.
Last two year's closing ranks of TS EAMCET, for EEE branch in KIIT Warangal were ,54469 (2019) and 51713 (2018) for SC category. Although cut offs may vary this year, based on the number of candidates appearing for the exam, last year's cut off trend, number if candidates taking admission etc.
You can check other colleges you might get through your rank :-
Hope this helps,
All the best!
is kitsw better than jntu kondagattu which is better college
Hello Aspirant,
Yes kitsw is better than JNTU
Some information about college:
Academics:
Except for a few good faculty, remaining are awful. I mean it. CSE, ECE have better faculty than remaining departments.(20–30% are good)
The institute became autonomous and planning to become a university by 2020.
The syllabus is not properly set, the breadth of topics got increased but the relevance is to be questioned. (eg: a mandatory Basic Electrical engineering course to all branches in first year where four courses of EEE are sandwiched into one.)
Assignments every week for every subject, the assignment consists of theory, hence students end up writing 10–15 pages for every subject every week. You don’t get time to refer other sources or try some thing during your college life.
Some faculty don’t know how to teach and will mess the subject. Every semester we got atleast one subject to be worried about. You cannot complain, doing so will get lots of negative attention.
Students
Most of them are either village kids who want a government job or management quota kids who want to enjoy etc.. the number of sane people in a class will be like 5–9 depending on branch and section you are in.
If you want peer learning and develop communication skills, this is not the place to look for.
Infrastructure
The institute has a good infrastructure, built in 66 acres. CSE, IT people have good labs. Recently ECE, EIE got good lab equipment. All I see is EEE labs are awful, seriously, their equipment is quite old and will not run properly.
Hostels
Worst hostels, the food is so unhealthy. Many of my friends used to buy food from outside. Complaints are not acknowledged.
Placements
The placement team is trying hard to get students placed but the ground reality is students are not well trained (except for a few) and most of them don’t get offers.
Hope this helps you
All the best for your future

First of all you must mention your category that's of which category was secured 53814 rank in EAMCET exam. As you have not mentioned your category so I am assuming that you belong from general category.
Now as you want electronics and communication engineering branch in kits Warangal then, sorry as per seeing the last year cutoff closing rank you cannot get it.
The last year TS EAMCET cutoff closing rank for ECE branch in kits Warangal for general category students was - 41232.
So as you can see you will not get ECE branch in kits Warangal.

can iget seat in cse in kits for 29684 rank
Hello student. 29,684 rank is a bit lower one. there are chances for you to get admission in Kaktiya institute of technology and science in warangal. But when it comes to the branch of comuputer science, there are lesser possibilities to get the branch.
The cut off for the branch of computer science in this institute will be around 18,000 give or take. So it is difficult.
YOu have not provided any reservation/category or quota. If either of them exists, then your chances might improve. But even then computer science branch is demanding one. So difficult to get that
There are pretty many good colleges to which you can apply to:
1. Gitam university in vishakhapatanam
2. GMR institute of technology
3. NBKR institute of science and technology
4. sri vidyanikethan engineering college
5. CVR college of engineering
6. Chaitanya institute of technology in hyderabad
What is cut off for CSE in KITSW for TSEAMCET 2020 Can you tell that for B.C. E boys.? My rank is 28268.
Hello,
It's difficult to predict cut-offs as it varies every year based on multiple factor such as seat matrix, marks obtained in exam, toughness level of paper, total number of candidates participating in the exam etc, but if we go through previous year data then in 2018 respective rank of 19145 belonging to BC-E(Male) Category secured a seat for CSE in Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, hence the chances seem tough with your given rank, but this is purely based on previous year data as I aforementioned that it's subjective to change. To know more about admission possibilities in various colleges you can use our TS EAMCET College Predictor; https://www.careers360.com/ts-eamcet-college-predictor
