This is because,
Your parents income is more than 8 lakhs per annum i. e 9.5 lakh per annum and thus you belong to OBC creamy layer but reservation is only for OBC non creamy layer.
-
Creamy layer OBC candidates are those whose parents annual income is more than 8 lakhs per annum and they are not eligible for reservation
-
obc ncl i. e Obc non creamy layer are those candidates whose parents annual income is less than 8 lakh per annum and they are eligible for reservation

My score is 497,My category is 2A ,Hyderabad-Karnataka Will I get seat in Karnataka government college?
Compared to 2019, the NEET 2020 cut offs have changed considerably higher than expected. With the top score being 720 which is 19 marks greater than 2019's top score, it is difficult to predict chances. But based on the analysis of the experts, on the and going by previous years data, Government Medical Colleges are difficult. You might get a seat in Government Quota of Private Medical Colleges like:
KIMS
B.R. Ambedkar Medical College
MS Ramaiah
Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Hi
It is difficult to make prediction as cut off keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like
------------) number of students that appeared in the neet exam,
------------) kind of marks obtained by them ,
------------) toughness level of the neet examination
------------) number of seats available
------------) the category you are from etc
Anyway,
when we go through previous year trends
>>>>>> With 514 marks,
You have low chances for mbbs in government colleges in 15 % all india quota counselling conducted for government colleges be it in karnataka or anywhere. For the same, your marks should have been at least around 610 marks as per past year data .
Even for koppal your chances are low,
For example,
In 2020 , 615 marks was cut off for Koppal Institute of Medical Sciences for general category under all india quota.
You can check the same at
https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cut-off-for-government-colleges
But yes,
In all india counselling,
You have chances in deemed universities for mbbs which are listed below along with their cut off marks in neet 2020,2nd round all india counselling conducted for 100 % deemed university seats :-
----------) K.S Hegde Medical Academy, Mangaluru:- 491 marks
----------) Rural Medical College and PIMS, Loni:- 489 marks
----------) Amrita Institute of Medical Science, Kochi:- 479 marks
----------) SDU Medical College, Kolar:- 466 marks
----------) SBKS Med. Inst. and Res. Centre, Sumandeep Vadodara:- 446 marks
----------) Yenepoya Manglaore:-436 marks
----------) Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar:- 426 marks
----------) B.L.D.E University, Bijapur:- 387 marks
And a few more

their is a news that 4 new medical college have got approved by Karnataka Government is it true ??? and is it for our batch??
Hello Aspirant,
Yes the news was true but there was only a proposal to start the four new medical colleges in the districts Chikkamagaluru, Haveri, Yadgir and Chikkaballapur of Karnataka but the proposal was not approved and for this year no admission will be taken in these colleges.
Due to pandemic the building of these colleges are still in construction phase and not yet in condition for conducting regular classes neither the staff has been recruited, therefore NMC has shot down the proposal for this year. Most probably from next year the admission can be started in these colleges.
So for now there are only 890 UG seats in Karnataka out of which approx. 2900 are government seats for which only those candidates are eligible who belongs to Karnataka.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
im in class 12 and this year in neet category wise i got 50329 can i get Ayurvedic or homeopathy or even dental for 310 marks in Karnataka government seat
Hello Student
For to get government BDS college or ayurvedic or homeopathy college if you are in general category student then the Neet scoring marks is needed for government colleges for BDS 550 plus marks. In 313 marks in NEET exam it is not possible for a General candidate to take admission in government colleges for BDS course.
