You need to check last years cut off in order to see if your rank falls into the range on the basis of which they took admission last year. You didn't mention your marks and category so I cannot tell you anything with authority right now.

You do have chances since the usual cut offs of the Chengalpattu Medical College and the KMC are close. In 2018, Chengalpattu had a cut off of 557 marks and KMC of 557 marks. AIQ corresponds to All India Quota. In all the medical colleges there is two quota one is all India Quota and other is state quota. In private colleges there are many other quota like management quota , NRI Quota , etc. I am not going into those. The students having domicile of a state are alloted a seat in their state medical colleges through State Quota where there is 85% seats reserved for state students. The remaining 15% seats are reserved for the students of All India which comes under All India Quota.
