i got a rank of 8602 in neet PG and i want to take ms obs-gyn . will i get in KMC Manipal .if not please suggest next best hospital

Dr.Debtanu Banerjee 24th Feb, 2019
With a rank of 8600+ in neet pg, getting a seat in obgy will be a bit difficult in premier medical colleges like kmc manipal, lady hardinge,rg kar or cnmc, kolkata but you might make it to the most peripheral colleges in different states including those of Bihar, West Bengal and maybe in the northeast apart from few opportunities in Maharashtra or Central India as well if your luck serves you right although the cutoff of South India and Delhi will be hired due to scarcity in the number of MS and MD seats in the premier medical colleges their notwithstanding the fact that private college MS observe any seats will be open to you even and the states which I have just mentioned above
Your rank is just at the borderline of being eligible and not eligible for MS degree in obstetrics and gynaecology but yet I would not deter you and would encourage you to participate in the counselling procedure
you could use the following link I am sharing to predict your viable chances in different colleges in a more accurate manner

What is the Fee for MBBS course...??

Shreya_1549549812 Student Expert 12th Feb, 2019

Hello Mohammed LuQuan

The fees for MBBS course varies with the institution. The fees  sturcture depends on the type of college you are going, private or government. The Central government college fees are less in compared to private college fees. For government it is about 50 to 80 thousand per year but in private it is 5 to 12 lakhs per year or more. You can qualify for exams like AIIMS, NEET, JIPMER etc exams to get a government college.

Hope it helps you!!

Thank you

Why one should prefer KMC(Manipal/Mangalore )for MDGeneral medicine even with a goodrank inspite of huge feestructure.let me know the advtgs

Gautam Manohar 10th Feb, 2019

Hey Sai Reddy. In comparison to Government colleges, KMC has only one drawback thats Fee structure.Government colleges are generally considered better because of some reasons such as affordable fee structure, better studying environment (since all the students are selected through merit), good patient exposure, etc. But even KMC has these pros. But it depends on the government medical college you get through your counseling. If you are getting Government colleges like AIIMS, JIPMER, BHU then, ignore KMC,. If you don’t get a decent government medical college, you can either join the government college you get or get into KMC if fees is not the issue or try next year, good luck
