if I exercise choice 2 in second round allotment in kcet, I will have to pay the fees right, so if I get a seat in neet by kea will the amount paid would be transferred or I have to pay again
Hello aspirant,
I hope that you are doing great.
If you have submitted the amount in the second extended round counselling then, you have still the option to select the seat in neet by kea. And if you got the seat in neet by kea and if you have paid teh fees in the second round counselling in kcet, then your money will get refunded and and it will be transferred to your account.
I hope that this will help
if we exit from kea cet, are we suggested to go for documents verification again for neet counselling?
Hello,
KCET is considered for admission into engineering colleges but document verification is valid for both the exams whether engineering or medical. So it is valid for NEET also , you must have got a secret key in the online portal , you can use this key for your further documentation process. So , you don't need to do document verification again.
All the best !

hello .. i have joined the engineering college... if i want to attend for neet councling from kea... do i need to quit from engineering college....
Hello,
There is no need to cancel the NEET Counselling if you have already joined the engineering college. You can attend the counseling for the medical course even though you have joined the engineering colleges. You don't need to quit engineering college.
Hope your doubts are cleared by now. All the best.
Hello sir, I got 358 marks in NEET (OBC category ) . 1. Can I get a seat in this college ? I have not registered in Kea councelling. If yes what I have to do next ??? 2.Can Non Karnataka students get category benefits like fees consation or scolarships?
Hope you are doing well,
1)As of now,we cannot say anything about the cutoff, admission in Colleges or anything related to this as every year the cutoff is based on different factors like :
- number of candidates applying for the exam
- number of seats ( increased)
- difficulty level of exam
But our website will help you to predict your future college,go visit our website :

2) Private medical colleges do not have a fee concession for any category. In fact they are the ones with no reservation for any category, also there is no concession in fee for non karnataka student in colleges because if you are form karanataka region and have reservation of some backward catse then only you can make benefit of that.
Hope this will help you
Thank you
after paying kea fees we should report to the college,at a time of reporting should we pay all the fee at a time or can we pay in installments
Hello candidate
Kea stands for Karnataka Examinations Authority. Yes you've to pay KEA fees every year but I don't think you've to pay college fees every year. I had read somewhere that is illegal for the college to collect extra fees apart from that of KEA fee. Please check the KEA website for details about it. Even though extra fee can be charged 38k seems too much .
First year you need to pay directly favoring KEA through challan or online payment(if applicable). Then report to college taking an admission order and there just pay prescribed college fee and hostel fee(if applicable). Rest three years you need to pay both KEA fee and college fee in your college only.
Feel free to ask your queries here.

Thank you.
I have recently written my (Karnataka) PGCET MBA exam. Now when i try to login to KEA website it is showing the username and password does not exist. I am unable to login to website despite giving correct credentials. Even if try accessing forgot password option its not responding...
I hope you are doing well. Regarding your doubt i would say that there is a technical snag in the website which often occurs. You can try after few days. The authorities will surely notify on this through a notice if it persist for longer period. Otherwise there won't be other issues. As all the websites are maintained by the university or the college authorities in a strict manner.
Hope the information is helpful
Thank You
when may KEA start second round counselling for KCET 2021
I have got seat in good college. But still i want to go for 2nd round. So Ive chosen choice 2 after 1st round seat allotment. Am I supposed to pay the fees for the college I reserved/blocked???
Dear candidate,
Yes, you would have to pay the fees of the college that you are going to reserve, if not done they you would be out of the whole counselling procedure. After paying the fees you can go for your college upgradation.
for document verification for minority quota in KEA, are we supposed to attend it at the KEA office or at St.Johns medical College?
Hi, every candidate needs to download their document verification slip and carry it with other documents required for the verification. Read the instructions carefully before going there. The documents will be verified at the KEA office, Malleswaram, 18th cross. Students claiming seats in St. Johns Medical College under Government norms or belong to category 2 and category 8 need to get their documents verified. This can be done on 6th and 11th January from 9:15 am to 6:15 pm. Verification of NRI/OCI/PIO and foreign nationals will be done on 13th January. This was for home state students. Now, for non-Karnataka students are not needed to get their documents verified. However, who are qualified for NRI ward, religious minority or categories under category 2 and category 8 in St. Johns Medical College must appear for verification on 12th and 13th January. For, more details you can check on their official website : kea.kar.nic.in (http://kea.kar.nic.in) If you still have doubts feel free to comment. Hope this helps.
