The first step of the counselling process is the document verification and registration. After verification unique ID and password will be given to the students. Those verified candidates can login with their login credentials to fill their preferred choices.There is no fee charged for choice filling. KEA karnataka counselling for first round is still going on. Mock allotment result had been out for first round. Final result may come today or upto tomorrow. Last date for reporting at the college which is allotted for choice 1 candidates is 27nov.

Round 2 counselling dates have been not released yet. If we see previous year trends then they give chance to fresh registration for round2. You can register once registration get started for round 2.

SCG Means scheduled caste General when candidates belongs to SC Category but under general and not under any reservations like Kannada Medium or rural such can opt SCG.

This year the total number of seats available was 3,000 where 40 percent was reserved for agriculture quota.The official rank list  has not yet been released but since this year exam has been cancelled the competition has been hiked up and candidates would need more mark to qualify the same seat,for instance a candidate with 96 marks would have got 3300 rank in 2019 but in 2020 it would be in the range of 4500.

It is clearly mentioned in their official website that if the candidates fail to submit their valid documents for verification within the stipulated time period, then their candidature for contention of a medical seat shall be forfeited/with held i.e. that candidate will be denied his seat.

Earlier the deadline for submitting the application form was 10th November. Then the deadline was extended to 12th November. The candidates needed to fill the application form by 2pm and pay the requisite fees by 5.30 pm.

As you have missed the extended deadline, it is probable that your candidature may get cancelled. There is no official confirmation from the Authority if they will further extend this deadline.

At this moment, there is not much we can do. You can call their official contact number from their official website and see for yourself which response you will get from the authorities and post your further query.

You can ask them for a special request and implore that you need a little more extended window to submit the final application form.

On the 13th of November, the Eligibility list of Special Category- Sports has been uploaded on the official website. That was the last update. Today being a holiday and tomorrow being a Sunday, there might no further updates until Monday which is the 16th. You can also check the latest updates at their official website at: https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/

Once you submit all the documents and finished your uploading process the window for you will reopen after the document verification process only.. dont worry if any document is found missing then they will give you another chance to upload the document..
