I got my first keam allotment. How can i secure my seat and pay fees (for temporary admission )
Hello aspirant,
You have to pay the fee within the time limit other wise you didn't get allotment in second phase of allotments and also your current college will also lose, so I advise you to pay the fee immediately.
after that you can go for second phase of allotment in that you will get your higher option and on further allotments you will get your most higher option but this will depend on your score and chance of getting in that college for the applied course. If you lock the college or temporarily join the college then your option will remains but if do not take temporary admission the that option get cancelled and you will get your higher options. If you didn't get an allotments no need to pay the fee and there will be no fee memo in your home page, wait for the second phase and then for 3rd , spot and mop up.
Hope it helps!
Will the sd reservation in keam allotment, be considered in all the 4 allotment??
Hello aspirant,
SD reservation will be considered in the 4th phase allotment of KEAM. But, only some colleges do that ( as per the government statistics. Maybe it is because of lack of applicants ) . You can always check the official site for allotment details in every phase.

Is college of Engineering Cherthala a good college?
Dear Aspirant,
It is always better to be part of government engineering colleges which offer great value based education than enrolling oneself in some random private engineering institute.
The Government College of Engineering, Cherthala is one of the prestigious institutes of the state and is a state run engineering college. The Institute is in its development stage right now.
Although I recommend people to join government engineering colleges to pursue your career, I am still not thrilled to vouch for this particular Institute and recommend to someone else. It's still in its nascent stage. Most of the companies that visit are the software companies like TCS, WIPRO, Infosys, etc which kinda offer extremely average or mediocre packages, as computer science engineering is one of the main branches of the Institute.
It has an intake of 90 seats for cse. The good thing about the Institute is that it charges extremely less fees for a total of 4 years. Furthermore, it also has provisions of Management Quota which is another gateway for students to crack their way in to the engineering college. The fees charged under Management Quota is also less as it is only 2.6 lakhs for a course of 4 years.

Should I join University College of Engineering Thodupuzha or College of Engineering Cherthala (which is a better option)?
Hello Aspirant,
So basically you in terms of placements both the colleges are quite decent but College of Engineering, Cherthala is better as almost 65% of the students who enrolled for the courses. Companies like Infosys, Accenture have visits the college and offers the students about three lacs package.
Next talking about infrastructure The College of Engineering, Thodupuzha is about four lacs square feet and The campus of College of Engineering, Cherthala is rather creative. So that totally depends on the students.
So as per my opinion College of Engineering, Cherthala will be my 1st choice .
