Can we get into any Architectural college through 150 Barch score
hello aspirant,
Looking at the previous year B.Arch Score, you have good chances to get top Architectural colleges with 150 marks in B.Arch. The last year cutoff for getting into the top Architectural colleges was around 130-150.
further, please note that the above mentioned Cutoff score is based on the previous year data which may vary for this year as the B.Arch Cutoff keeps varying every year as it depends on various factors like : difficulty level of the paper, previous year Cutoff trends, number of aspirants appearing, etc.
Further, to know more about the B.Arch cutoff for previous year, follow the below mentioned link : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-b-arch-b-planning
I hope that this will help.
can i join Barch course management ceat after completing diploma in civil engineering
Yes you can do architecture course after completing diploma in civil engineering course. Today an architecture related course in India makes a lots of sense. The course you should go for is Architecture Engineering. It is related to the design of bridge, multipurpose building, industrial area, residential area etc. Today there is huge demand for candidates who have Architecture background because of several dam, bridges etc projects in India.
You will face very little problem applying for the architecture course in India. What perhaps will suit you the best is B.Tech in Architecture. It would be the logical choice since you have completed diploma in civil engineering.
The candidate who has completed diploma in civil engineering is eligible for the architecture engineering course through the lateral entry scheme offered by the Engineering colleges in India.
In this scheme, you can get admission for the second year in the Engineering course on the condition that you should have either completed diploma in Engineering or B.Sc course. Since you have completed diploma in civil engineering, you are eligible for entry in Engineering college via lateral entry scheme.
Most of the Engineering institutes in India offer lateral entry scheme. They reserve around 15 percent seats every year for this entry scheme. The process of giving admission is different for each university. While some may ask you to appear in Lateral Entry Engineering Test (LEET), others would be happy to give you direct admission based on your performance in the diploma course.
Eligibility
You need to have completed diploma in civil engineering from a recognised university.
You should score at least 60 percent marks in diploma course to appear in LEET entrance exam or to get direct admission.
There is however a possibility to get admission with 50 percent marks in diploma as well but there are very few colleges who grant admission with such percentage.

No you cannot correct it but what you can do is fill another JEE Mains entrance examination form with the correct details as NTA allows you to give both JEE Mains and B.Arch examination. So do not worry about that

when i calculated my marks i have 100 marks in jee barch session 1 ... can i get into good nit?
It is quite difficult to predict the JEE rank based on the score, but you can have a tough estimate of your rank. The rank is decided by considering various factors such as the difficulty of the exam, candidates scoring more than 100, age of the candidate, and the marks obtained in the 12th board examinations. Based on the information available, your rank could be anywhere between 50000-75000.
It is quite hard to get an admission into one of the top NITs, given the estimated rank. You can always use the Careers360 Predictor to check which colleges you can apply to.
All the best and good luck.
If I am absent in Barch & Bplan paper and present in BE & BTECH paper then I should say fail in jee 2022??
Hello Aspirant,
I hope you are doing well.
No, you will NOT fail. It is not necessary that if you have registered you would have to give both the exams but , As you have already registered for both B.Tech and B.arch exams , according to me you should appear for both the exams , as there are many aspirants who give both the exams and then according to their result they are able to choose the stream and college suits them better . Giving both the exams will open a greater range of opportunity and it would increase your chances of getting a good college .
I hope this helps.
Good Luck
It is not required to take both examinations if you have enrolled, but if you have already registered for both B.Tech and B.Arch exams, I believe you should take both exams, as many applicants take both exams and then choose the stream and college that best suits them. Giving both examinations opens up a wider variety of possibilities and improves your chances of getting into a good college.
I hope this helps, and good luck with your tests.
Best for your exams .

If I fill the barch and btech form in jee main and give both the exams then after the result will I be able to pursue only btech through jee Mains or it will be mandatory to pursue barch?
Hi aspirant...!
Hope you're doing great....!
So, with regard of you're query. Which course you choose will be entirely up to you. If your B.TECH result is favorable, I would advise you to pursue B.TECH courses through the JEE mains examination; otherwise, if your B.ARCH results are good and you receive some good architecture institutions through B.ARCH Counseling, you may pursue B.ARCH. During the counselling procedure, you can choose any course, whether B.ARCH or B.TECH.
Hope this will helps you....!
GOOD LUCK...!
If I apply for barch as well as btech in jee mains and attempt both the exams Can I pursue btech later?
Hi vaishnavi,
Yes you can pursue whatever you want in both of these.
It doesn't matter how many examination forms you have filled of different fields what dies matter is how much you are dedicated towards a particular course. Because surely you can not pursue two courses together. So select the best one as per your choice.
I hope this answer will help you
Thank you and very good luck:))
