OEC category in Kerala.... Is there is a chance in Kerala Government college through State Quota My Mark is 444
Hey dear, cutoff varies year to year, if you see the last year's cutoff which went very high that even students getting 500 marks were unable to get a good mbbs govt. College. So, with 444 marks your chances for govt. Mbbs college under state quota is less being an obc candidate, you can get govt. Bams and bhms with these marks easily. Compared to 2019, the NEET 2020 cut offs have changed considerably higher than expected. With the top score being 720 which is 19 marks greater than 2019's top score, it is difficult to predict chances. But based on the analysis of the experts, on the and going by previous years data, with this score a few Colleges that you may have a shot at, you have a chance in Government Quota seats in Private Medical Colleges like:
- Dr Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College and Hospital
- Travancore Medical College
- Believers Church Medical College Hospital
Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. I have qualified UGC NET in the year 2019 under EWS category. I got EWS certificate from Kerala Government. But I am married off in the year 2020 and at present I dont belong to EWS category. Is my NET valid??
Hello Shilpa,
Mostly this situation is not going to cause you problem. If you have produced valid documents during the time when you wrote the exam ,it means that you have written the exam as an EWS candidate and you are a NET qualified candidate for lifetime as long as the documents and details you submitted at the time of your exam are genuine. Moreover, if you have scored above the clearing score of unreserved (gen) category then you sure have nothing to worry. However, to be a 100 percent sure about this issue I suggest you to contact the UGC officials by either phone or emailing them at www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in (https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/) or ugcnetonline.in@gmail.com

How many marks needed for obtain MBBS admission in Kerala government colleges on 2020?
You haven't mentioned your Category. This is important because cut offs vary across Categories. Nevertheless, in 2019, under State Quota, the cut offs for various Categories have been as follows:
General Category: 558
SC: 385
ST: 278
This is 2019 data for cut offs of GMCs. You can check the cut offs of Self Financed and Private Medical Colleges at our page: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-kerala . Now this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. So for a seat in your Category, you need to score atleast more than 50-75 marks more than those mentioned against your Category here. With NEET being pushed by almost 4 months, competition is going to be tough and the cut offs might increase as well. And if you are preparing for NEET, you may as well try our NEET Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/ . And because you have 37 more days to prepare for NEET, you may as well use this opportunity.

how much mark in neet for kerala government dental college 2020,Expected?
GDC Alappuzha had cutoff of 481 marks last year equivalent to an AIQ rank of 29385 for general category. I will enlist the cutoffs of other dental colleeges of Kerala -
- Government Dental College, Kottayam - 482 marks, 28777 AIQ rank
- Government Dental College, Kozhikode - 481 marks, 29456 AIQ rank
- Government Dental College, Thrissur - 485 marks, 27575 AIQ rank
- Government Dental College, Trivandrum - 509 marks, 18578 AIQ rank
Having said this cutoffs keep fluctuating from year to year as they depend on various factors like number of candidates appearing, paper level difficulty, etc. So try to score around 500-510 and above to be on the safer side.
