what can i do for kvpy sa stream exam ??
The identification of being a KVPY Scholar is a lofty one and it gives direct admission to top organizations like IISc and the different IISERs. KVPY test is at standard with the IIT JEE entrance with regards to the trouble level. Be that as it may, there is compelling reason need to press the signal for an emergency response now. You can break the KVPY SA test effectively assuming you plan insightfully.
Subject-wise Strategy and Tips for KVPY SA
Physics : Make sure that you are intensive with the class XI schedule. The main points are Mechanics, Ray Optics, Electromagnetism. You ought to know the class XI level Mechanics appropriately. I expect that Ray Optics and Electromagnetism isn't there in your group XI schedule. The fundamental class X level information in these two points is sufficient. The less significant subjects, that is - Thermodynamics, SHM, and Waves ought to ideally be finished from the class XI book.
Arithmetic : You should know practically all points from class XI. Class X level information on Geometry is required. On the off chance that you know the essentials of Number Theory, it will help you a great deal. Mental capacity based questions which include Algebra, Geometry are significant. Significant sections incorporate Quadratic Equation, Progression and Series, Permutations and Combination, Basic Geometry. In Coordinate Geometry, Conics isn't needed. Prepare to wrack your mind as you will confront a great deal of IQ-Based issues in KVPY Math.
Chemistry: In brief, you want the information on Physical Chemistry of Class XI level. The key parts are Atomic Structure, Chemical Bonding, Chemical Energetics, Stoichiometry and Gaseous State. Class X level information on Organic Chemistry is enough for you. Try not to stress over Inorganic Chemistry. Barely any inquiry comes from that point. Regardless of whether you experience an odd inquiry from that point, you will actually want to address it with fundamental Class X information.
Biology : In the event that you don't have biology, sit back and relax, simply be cool. An essential Class X information on Biology is sufficient. In Fact on the off chance that you know the Class X prospectus pretty well, you could score penny percent marks in Biology. Simply open your class X book and modify.
You need to remember that every one of the four subjects are similarly significant and on the off chance that you disregard any of them, you can say farewell to a to your expectations of breaking the KVPY SA test.
Last recommendation for KVPY assessment
Practice the earlier years question papers of KVPY thoroughly. Track down your escape clauses, and work on them. Dissimilar to IIT JEE, you won't confront new sorts of issues consistently in KVPY. In this way, on the off chance that you have completely polished earlier years questions, it helps enormously.
At last, KVPY is only a trial of your Analytical Skills and your Aptitude in Science. Be quiet and certain while showing up for the test and don't be focused on superfluously.
I trust these assessment tips will help you in clearing the KVPY SA test and turning into a glad KVPY scholar.
Good luck for the test!
what is KVPY SA,SB,SX exam please answer ?
Hi,
KVPY Eligibility includes age criteria, citizenship, and academic criteria for each stream. The minimum age required to apply for the SA stream is 16 years. The lower age limit for the SX stream is 17 years. The candidates who apply for the SB stream must be 18 years old.
- SA: Students enrolled in 11th standard will undergo this stream.
- SX: Students enrolled in 12th standard will have to apply under SX stream.
- SB: Students enrolled in 1st year in basic science will go under this stream.
There are 3 streams under which fellowships are granted. The details of these streams are mentioned below :-
SA-
This stream is for students enrolled in 11th Standard (Science Subjects) in the current year. They must have a minimum of 80% (70% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in Mathematics and Science Subjects in 10th Standard Board Examination. The fellowship of the students selected under this stream gets activated only when they join an undergraduate course in Basic Sciences (B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S.) after passing 12th (within 2 years of passing 10th). Also they should secure a minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in Science subjects in the 12th Board Examination. During the interim period of one year, selected students are invited for Regional/National (Vijyoshi) Science Camp and their travel and other related expenses are met by KVPY.
Stream SX:
This stream is for Students enrolled in 12th Standard (Science subjects) during the current year and aspiring to join an Undergraduate program in Basic Sciences (B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S.) in the next year. They should secure a minimum of 80% (70% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects (Physics/Chemistry/Biology) in the 10th Standard Board Examination and a minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in SCIENCE subjects (Physics/Chemistry/Biology) in the 12th standard Board Examination.
Stream SB:
This stream is for students enrolled in the 1st year of an Undergraduate program (B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S.) in the current academic year. They should have secured a minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in SCIENCE subjects (Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Mathematics) in the 12th Standard Board Examination. They must secure 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in the 1st year final examination of B.Sc./B.S./B.Math./B.Stat./Int. M.Sc./M.S before taking up the fellowship, if awarded.
Hope this helps.
All the best.
I scored 62% marks in class 9 ( due to some reasons) so can am I eligible for kvpy sa stream?
Hello Aspirant ,
Yes , totally you can give KVPY SA examination in your class 11 if you scored 62 percent in your class 9 examination , your class 9 result does not matter in KVPY exam only class 10 result matter ,which is just an eligibility criteria .You need atleast 75 % in class 10 boards exam to be eligible for KVPY SA(65% if you are ST/SC/OBC).
Only science stream students are eligible(PCM/PCB/PCMB) for KVPY exam .

you can study pure sciences and enter into research sciences if you get admissions in any of these renowed institutions.

But talking about SA portion students do not have quiet of an advantage whether they are a neet or a jee aspirant they have to study and attempt all four Physics, Chemistry , Biology and Mathematics.
the best books are NCERT as the portion includes a mixture of both 11th and 12th grade and tests your aplitude based on that.
There is no official syllabus for KVPY as such but they try and emphasize on certain topics each year which changes every year. But the topics which you might as well refer during your preparation is as follows:-

- Introduction to trignometry, geometry
- Coordinate Geometry
- Statistics

I cover mostly syllabus for kvpy sa stream what I do now but my mock test are not good
Hello.
When you prepare for something it is not only necessary to cover the syllabus but practice is more important. You have to keep on practicing all the chapters that you have completed of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. As biology is a completely different subject that doesn't require you to practice any formulas ,you need to revise and learn it daily so as to jog your memory. Finally, even if your scores are not upto the mark in mock tests, keep on doing them as mock tests are the key to scoring good marks. Eventually, you'll learn by doing and can score your expected marks in KVPY Exam. All the best.
