The eligibility criteria says for KVYP exam says that for appearing in SA stream , a candidate must possess PCB/PCM during the year 2020-2021 are eligible.
Having said that, he/she must have scored a minimum of 75% (65% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in maths and science subjects in class 10 examination.

Hi, I am a state board student in class plus 1 in academic year2020-2021.I have started preparing for kvpy sa this month(september). Is 10th and plus1 ncert syllabus and previous year questions enough to crack kvpy sa?
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing well.
As per your question, accordingly yes you can score in kvpy even if you are from 11th standard. As SA category also, there eligibility criteria is you should have passed in 10th with 75 percent and one should be studying in 11th so if you are fulfilling this eligibility you can give KVPY. The cutoff of KVPY is around 45 as per previous year score.

how can I get into IISc banglore after clearing KVPY SA
Hello aspirant,
Through KVPY/JEE exam, by the end of April IISc receives all the applications. Then with ranks in KVPY limiting a particular cutoff rank, offers are sent to the candidates. Offers are also sent to the candidates via JEE-MAIN, JEE ADVANCED and NEET exam. Still if any seats are left to be filled up, then there may be a spot admission round and in this process, there is no cutoff limit. So these are the admission procedures of getting into IISc Bengaluru after clearing KVPY SA.
Good Luck! Hope, you get the answer.
how can I get good practice of plane geometry for KVPY SA currently, even if I try to solve questions of plane geometry questions of previous papers of KVPY , Im not able to solve it please help
Hey!
First clear your basic concepts of plane geometry and solve some basic questions from ncert, then try to solve the advanced level questions without looking at the solution. Once you are done with the practice of same, then solve the previous years problems.

can someone name topics I should study in number theory for KVPY SA stream
I think that it is good to start with basic divisibility. There are a lot of exercices/problems you can solve only using some basic techniques like prime number factorization, GCD and maybe Bézout’s theorem. After that, you could start learning some more advanced concepts - like quadratic residues, Euler’s totient function, Fermat’s Little Theorem, Wilson’s Theorem, the Primitive element theorem and start using these in order to solve some more advanced problems like diophantine equations. You can also learn some basic properties of multiplicative functions.
I want to study diophantine equations in number theory from where I can start studying to understand symbols used in diophantine equations .
'A friendly introduction to number theory by Joseph H. Silverman' is a good which you can refer for diophantine equations in number theory.
This will help you to clear you basics and you will also be able to understand a lot of concepts. There are also several other chapters that are very beautifully explained and that will also be beneficial for you.
Good Luck
I am a 11th std student and Ill be giving Kvpy SA , Ive heard electrostatics is an important chapter for KVPY but However its in 12th std I wont be able to study it complete therefore please suggest me topics in electrostatics that I should study for KVPY SA stream
Heh there
Electrostatics is a very important chapter. In it for kvpy you can study
1. Calculation of electric field and potential of different bodies.
2. They may ask you to find electric field and potential at a point due to an unsymmetrical body so do it.
3. Capacitance which includes dielectrics and different cases of finding capacitance.
4. Dipole is very important.
5. Gauss law and coulomb's law is very important.
Good luck
which chemistry chapters are important in KVPY SA exam
hi,
KVPY SA stream is for students currently studying in the 11th grade or 1st year of course of intermediate. however it is a computer based test, has two parts part 1 and part 2, for kvpy sa , candidates need to attempt all questions, since this is an mcq type question suggestion making is difficult. however you need to give more concern for organic chemistry part,
