i am a kvs cbsc student studying in westbengle can I apply state quota (wb) in 85%
Hello,
Yes usually the satte for study during 11th 12th standards is also considered quivalent to domicile.
ANd no domicile certificates are needed to be produced for the same.
so yes you are eligible for 85% west bengal quota if you have passed senior secondary from west bengal kvs.
However as you know that cutoff changes every year depending on various factors like difficulty level of the exam questions , number of candidates appearing and the recent COVID19 crisis etc.
You can use careers360 college predictor to know the colleges you can get at your NEET score;- https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

All the best.
In ICAR (AIEEA- UG) application form, there is an option- "Type of Qualifying examination institute" 1. Private 2. Government 3. KVS 4. JNV What option should I select if I am from a private school and have passed from CBSE board?
The answer is obvious. If you have passed class 12th form CBSE board of education from a privat school, you may select the option PRIVATE where you are asked to fill the type of institution. This will mean, that you haven't done class 12th from government school or KVS or any other body. You completed class 12th from a private school.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!
I belongs from Scs community.I have just passed the board exam from a private school, so can I eligible for taking admission in KVs.? kindly reply🙏
You don't need to worry dear it doesn't matter even if you have passed from a private school ( it must be affiliated to a valid board) you are still eligible for admission in KV .
Admission in KV is solely on the basis of marks obtained by you in 10th , and students from all the boards i.e cbse , icse , state boards etc are eligible for applying.
During admission preference is given to those whose parents are government employees , first preference is given to those who are under central government and then to the ones who are state government employees
If none of your parents are government employees then try to get at least 85 to 90% in your 10th board if you want to get into KV , I remember applying for KV I had 9.8 CGPA in 10th but still got into waiting list and got selected in the second list for admission in science stream as I was a student whose parents were not government employees, so competition is high for admission in Kv .
Thank you
IN ICAR application form there is a question "Type of qualifying examination institute" and the type given are private , government, kvs , jnv then in which was i given if i studied in private college???
Hey aspirant
As the question says, you need to select the type of the institution in which you studied and then appeared for the qualifying examination. The options are private, Government, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan or Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
Since your institution has been private, so select the private option and then proceed.
Hope this helps
